rcarlton
Nice. Love Cornwalls and McIntosh!
Klipschfoot
I envy setups with something else to look at besides a dull wall or tv. Maybe some birdfeeders would be nice. Music and nature are companions. Just looking at my audio gear is even distracting.
sean5340
Nice setup Joe! I'd like to hear some Mac on my LaScala's.

videoCWK
I really like the layout of the room. Looks like a great place to enjoy music, which I'm sure won't be a hard thing to do.

oldbuckster
I'm thinking of trying a Juicy Blueberry pre... Why would you do that? Just asking ............... try putting a little tilt on those Cornwalls !!!!!!
joe gutowski
I've read many posts and I also have a friend with one and he raves about it. On the AK McIntosh forum ,it get's consistently good reviews. Also it's so much less $ than a Mac.
oldbuckster
What are you using now ? Just curious, that's all. I have wanted McIntosh products for years, but find myself priced out of that market. Many good choices out there Blueberry being one of them ................
fenderbender
Blueberry ...shmooberry........I see two nice corners crying out for a nice pair of Klipschorns!!! [6][6][6] You will see about a huge increase in performance over the Corns...Changing your amp/pre will give some % change...mostly flavoring. The blueberries are awesome preamps!!! You can't even come close in that price point or double the price for that matter....If I wasn't dropping about $1K worth of work and tubes into my Sansui AU-111 I'd buy a BBX2 tomorrow......... fini
The phono is thin sounding. Do you have the VTA dialed-in?
joe gutowski
I'm confident the vta is set up properly. As a side note, I swapped out my tweeters for the Bob Crites version and the combo does sound better:smoother highs, slightly more detail and depth...still need to try it with my vinyl. Klipschfoot
........... give them a little while and they will sound even better ........... I work next door to a high end shop. They burn in speakers overnight. A couple of mornings I have walked into work to hear DSOTM coming through the walls. I guess it's what works.
