Fobar 2000 has been ok up 'till now, but I am outgrowing it's ability to categorize and manage all this there is no need for a dedicated " Music Server ", like the Olive as i have way more capability than that already I'm looking for Software suggestions to simply manage cataloging, and playback ... seti
I use my new Powerbook with Front Row. If I used a Mac Mini and attached some storage with a small LCD it would be a cool solution. The Macs come with remotes now. It isn't the most advanced system but I really like it allot. If I had a Cambridge Audio 840C I could run the Mac into the Cambridge Dac. You could use any DAC. http://www.audioenz.co.nz/2008/cambridge_840c.shtml two digital signal inputs, so the player can act as a DAC for other digital devices
