ajcllc
I am contemplating a pair of Cornwalls and was wondering if Cornwall I's or II's would be a good match for Forte I's or II's in home theater? Anybody interested in a trade for a pair of black Forte I's or II's with upgraded DeanG crossovers and titanium tweeter diaphragms? I just thought I would ask before I put them up for sale. oldtimer
I'm not exactly sure what you are asking, but if you mean will Forte's make good surrounds for cornwalls in an ht application, then I would say yes, it should work pretty well. It could even work the other way around, especially if you are not running a sub. Sorry I can't help you on a trade though.
ajcllc
Thanks oldtimer for your answer. I am referring to the timbre of the horns as far as matching. I understand that some speakers do not sound as good with others.
oldtimer
Cool, obviously a perfect match is identical all around, but surrounds are not as important for ht as the front three. I will stick to my story that fortes (especially the F1) will work fine for the application. Heresies would work too, but if you already have forte's and will add cornwalls then go for it.
