  1. We were lucky when our kids were little. Very easily understood don't touch! Their little friends were always great about these things too. They are now 39 and 40...time is getting away from us! 61 in another month. geezzzz... Sure understand the grills. Seen them installed on a lot of passives over the years.
  2. Rained almost all night. Pretty morning now though. A while back~
  3. We have always used 12g oxygen free copper cables. I did purchase some pretty ones this last go because we would be seeing them on top of a cabinet below wall mounted tv. (tube amp) And even those weren't super expensive at all and very well built. 12g as well. Maze Audio out of Colorado. Just another idea of so many...............👌 Mike
  4. A friends HeresysII's....and then later in life, he purchased new Chorus II's. I have both models myself still. HeresyII's still in their original boxes and stored in shop. I just can't sell them......😉
  5. Lately, we've been running a 2.3 watt per channel tube amp through our ChorusII's . Amazingly beautiful sound and LOUD as we would ever need! 101 db @ 1 watt/1 meter though. Looks like Scott has you covered on fixing the Kenwood 👌 Good luck~ Mike
  6. Hopefully, they get you squared away soon~ 👌
  7. Ask and look to see if they have all of the the original speaker drivers. Also, what changes or replacements to the internal crossover. Do they sound as they should? No popping, crackling or weird noises. All speakers inside the cabinet working. ~ How is the overall condition of the wood cabinets? MOST people tend to be pretty hard on speakers, so look closely... Good luck, And all the best to you! 👌
  8. Probably not a problem on your end. Severe storms in that part of the country last day or two. Our daughter in law got scared senseless while trying to go to work. Tornadoes hit in front of her a bit and the wind was nuts/she got off the highway and sat still in the car. Two touched down about a mile up from where she parked. She couldn't see anything through the rain and wind at all. All good after a bit. Ohio. Pretty sure parts of Indiana got hit too. Give them a day or two for email response....or call. 👌
  9. I thought about either the Schitt Modi and the Gashelli Labs ones.. Several months ago, I thought i'd pick one up to use between an Oppo bdp 103d and an incoming tube amp. I have not yet because the Oppo's dac is known to be a good one, but not quite as nice as inside the 'audiophile' (105 Oppo, etc) models. Sure sounds great as is, but was wondering if it would be even noticeably better with one of those mentioned? ~Mike
  10. This Kestrel doing a rain dance.( home) Man...we need rain and snow badly our here.
  11. We have the Genesis sacd/dvd/hybrid sets. All are outstanding~ Kathy especially loves the Follow you , follow me track on this one 👌
  12. No Facebook here. Zuckerberg thinks we're monsters. I guess he disagrees with us 😄..comes with the territory these days. From the one pic..seems like nice ones.
  13. Been a very dry winter here. We so hope the 'fire' season is a quiet one, but 'things' do not look very good this year.. Another gorgeous day. Early spring showers with sun breaks.
  14. Nice one for sure! If I needed, I'd have jumped in the truck! 👌
