  1. aww alright, im gonna see if i can get a klipsch engineer or worker or someone to look at this forum, i dont feel like paying $57 on a just a little dock piece when i bought the whole system for $200 and its not guarenteed to fix it. so yeah
  2. i got my ifi to work once in a while when it first stopped working right, but then after a while, it would never work. even if i waited for a month or so, the problem didn't go away. i tried adjusting the wheel slowly and all over the place, like in between notches, but no. what did you do anyways to get it to work again?? just adjust the wheel??
  3. dude, this problem is stupid. Klipsch acts like they still haven't realized this problem goes on, and pretend like they dont know whether it is the dock or the amp. can u reply when you find out whether replacing the dock works? cuz i don't want to replace the whole f*cki*g sound system. thanks
  4. well if u still want to use it for now, then u can put both speakers on the left channel i guess
  5. yes do turn it off. my system is ruined by muting it for hours at a time. just go to http://forums.klipsch.com/forums/t/79936.aspx
  6. I know for sure now that it is not a dock problem. It is a problem with the sound cards in the system. Now my system stays at the volume up 100% and nothing will change it except standby. not mute or anything. im going to have my father troubleshoot the system to see where the problem lies in the system. i will also try to contact the technicians, not the customer service ppl, but the people who actually designed this system and ask them.
  7. Dude!! I have the same problem! i hate it. i bought this system a little over a year ago and now my warranty is void. the controls r now all messed up. i kept the system muted for hours at a time. i guess thats the problem. i dont know what 2 do. i dont think its a problem wiht the control dock. but im not sure if u said that u got it fixed or not by replacing the dock. U see, i went into the sub box and there r: 2 sound cards, an power/electricity thing (not the problem) and the actual amp (also not the problem). I think that it is one of the sound cards. i cant really tell which one it is bc they r like intertwined. there r wires that go back and forth between sound cards and stuff so they obviously r exclusive to the ifi. i think one is just the eq and a little other and the other is i dont know. but im not sure. its ez 2 disconnect lik the sub speaker so whoever can use that but thats pretty tough. it seems that the system is digital just to let u know from a previous post. i have been using the sats for ohter things 2 cuz i dont want the sys 2 go2 waste. u no wats stupid? i ordered an adapter 4 my ipod 30gb vid and then the problem came up so now i just use it 4 charging. previously i was using like the 20gb adapter that came with it and folded papers. i havnt ben able 2 get into the dock [:@]
