  3. Hey Mark ,My love seat & couch are in the way ,as of now. This summer a bro is going to help me change my monster furnace (circa 1950 arco-liner) to a Wel-Mclain which is sitting next to the old one. This will free up room for spreading out my speakers. Thanks for the info tho,as you guys on this forum are the BOMB.
  4. I have Forte II's for fronts,Forte I (until i can get a forte II) for center.Forte II's for rear.Sounds Great to me.I have Pics on forum.
  5. http://tinypic.com/view.php?pic=rl97ox&s=5 Hi Matt, hope these help. This works for me now with 2 Forte II's in rear, not my final set up though.basement a work in progress.
  6. Hi Mark,I agree totally about using Forte II as a stand for tv.I will try & show you my ht set up.(via pics).I have three forte"s across front. The center is a Forte I,that i purchased 3 months ago.The forte I sits on a stand 48 wide x 23 highx 23 (Walmart ).My tv is a 50"Pioneer Elite which sits on the Forte I & is supported well as Mark stated.Forte II's on floor next to stand.Rear Forte II's.The sound just blows me away.I have been a member since June of 08'.The people on this forum helped me make the decision to go with this set up.At first i thought the Plasma was a little high for viewing, but it only brings tv approx.34 inches from florr to bottom of tv.Having all the same sounds Great to me.As always thanks to the forum.

  9. Hey mark,Lost your e-mail address. In regards to my system.I have the tv on Forte I,it is on it's side with bottom removed,so that it looks better. One reader (capo72)ask if i had another Forte' I.I do not.I have (4 Forte' 2's) & (1 Forte' I).I have a qustion though?Do you think it would sound better with 3 Forte' II's across the front? Then the mix/match for rear? Also i thank all for there input,I can;t get back to forum,as soon as i'd like.i have to get 3 teens off, then my wife & i have a chance.
  10. Hi,As you know i am new since 6/2008,I have a Timbre ?My system consists of 2 Forte II's (front),same in rear.I am using a (forte 1)for front. It is sitting on a 2 shelf entertainment center 48 wide x 23 highx 23 depth. On top of the forte 1 i have a Pioneer 50' Plasma. It sounds great, but i think i would like tv lower.I thought about a (rc62) that they had at Tweeter store that is closing this sunday 60% off.? about Timbre i have been reading on forum. (Sorry if not in right forum area).
  11. Do you have a Tweeter Store in Toronto.I saw an open box display rc62 for 60% off of $499.00,i think around $250.00.Store in Newington,Ct. closing Sunday 12/7/08.Tel.(860)665-0606.
  12. Thanks for the info,i might have my brother spray them at his shop, now that i have all the paint info. Thanks again.I would not mind trading the guy from Philly, but it's kind of a drive.I"ll ask him.Maybe he would meet me halfway.
