  1. Sorry, I meant the sub 12. I would never buy the sub 10 due to the amp problems. I editted it
  2. Where I live the SW450 is 250 euro's, the Sub 12 350 euro's and the only subs that really reach the power they promise, as the fuse capacity is proper. I'm really wondering if the 100e extra is worth it.
  3. I'd like to go and listen to both, but the only place that has them both AND for a good price is a bit far away. So what I'm wondering is how much difference there is in the following: - How deep they go in practice - How good you feel the bass in your stomach - Sound quality It will be used for home theatre 95% of the time, my main speakers can cope with music bass easily. It will be placed in a small to small-medium room, maybe medium in a later stage. Of course I know that the Sub 12 will probably do better in the first two respects. The question for me is, wether it;s worth the price difference so I'd like to know how big the differences are in practice. Thanks.
  4. Thanks I think the 450 would be the best option. It doesn't have a BASH amp but a regular class D which is way differen. I expect that to keep working And looking at the price it also seems to be a class higher and/or newer. And for the same price...obvious choice.
  5. I was looking for a sub on a budget and was thinking about DIY but then I came across the Sub 10. For that price, it seems difficult to build something better. But I stumbled across the amp problems which is a real shame Are these problems resolved yet? And what about the Sub 12? I have seen some problems, but are those the same problems as with the Sub 10 or arethose just a few that happen with every electronic product? For the money I can't seem to find any better here in the Netherlands so I hope it's resolved but otherwise I will steer clear... Edit: I can also get an SW450 for the same money as a Sub 10. What's the difference in practice?
