  1. When looking through the reference series in-walls there are about 5 similiar ones to choose from with what seem like minor differences. Is one of them better than the others or does it not make a difference if I chose the cheaper one over the more expensive one?
  2. Hey, I currently have the 5.1 Klipsch RF-62 HTS (RF-62 Fronts, RF-62 Center and RF-52 Surrounds) and I am looking into adding the rear surrounds to make it a 7.1 system. I would like the in-wall architectural type so they do not protrude out into the walkway that is behind my couch and was hoping for some suggestions. I figured that it is probably best to stick with Klipsch to keep everything the same brand. I notice that there are numerous models for the in-wall speakers and was wondering which one you guys recommend for my current speaker setup. Thanks in advance!!
  3. Yeah, the next thing I am going to get is a new AVR (my current one doesn't even have HDMI). The Denon's you suggested look great but they are a little too much $$ for me plus I have no room for front wides or surround rears so I don't need the full 9.1 set up. So far I think I am leaning towards the Onkyo TX-NR709 (can get a factory refurbished one for $530). Since the Onkyo 709 has the audyssey dsx, do you think its worth it for me to stick two of my old Onkyo satellite speakers up to have the front heights or is it not good to mix those with my new Klipsch setup?
  4. Hey, I saw the deal that Acoustic Sound Design had on the Klipsch RF-62 II bundle (http://www.acousticsounddesign.com/core/view_BigProduct.cfm?pid=1858&sc=52) and I couldn't pass it up (especially with the coupon code that brought it down to just under 2k). This is my first real home theater system as I currently have a 6 year old Onkyo HTB set up. My question is if you guys have any suggestions that may help me out such as how to properly break in the speakers/sub and any other advice you may have for a novice like me. I cant wait to set this beast up and thanks in advance! ~Stephen
  5. Thanks for all of your help!! Where are you able to get the Rf62ii's for $600 a pair (a quick google search is coming up with $440 each)? If that is the case than I can easily get the rc62ii center with it. If not than I may do what BigCliff suggested and just get the Rf62ii's for now and use a phantom center until I can afford the rc62ii center. I was planning on eventually getting a matching second sub, but the single sub will have to do for now. As for the receiver, I was actually looking to get one with with HDMI 1.4a for its 3d support, but i will definitely use that website to save some money. Thanks again. Also, can anyone tell me why my line spaces (paragraphs) are not showing up in the post??
  6. Hi, I am looking into upgrading from my home theater in a box speakers to something a little better. After some searching i stumbled across this brand of speakers and liked what I saw. I do however have a few questions and was hoping to get help with choosing the right speakers. My room size is 17 x 12 x 9 and I am going to be getting an Onkyo 709 receiver, Emotiva Ultra 12 Sub and Axiom QS4 or QS8's for the surrounds. As for the Fronts and Center speakers, that is where I want to go with Klipsch and have a few different options. Option 1 (slightly under my budget): RF-52 II Floorstanding Speaker with RC-52 II Center Speaker Option 2 (hits my budget): RF-62 II Floorstanding Speaker with RC-52 II Center Speaker Option 3 (slightly over my budget): RF-62 II Floorstanding Speaker with RC-62 II Center Speaker I will be using this setup mostly for movies (blu rays) and games. I guess my question is how much better the 52's are from the 62's and if it is a bad idea to mix them as I did in option 2. Thanks in advance!! Edit: Sorry, for some reason none of my paragraphing is showing in the post
