  1. Bob Crites might - I believe he has the motor board designs and he also has the cabinets. I'd give him a call....but shipping will be a bear. Sounds like a possibilty. I'll shoot him an email next week and see if I can get the ball rolling. Thanks!
  2. Man, the decorator models in birch don't seem to come up much on the used market. I contacted Klipsch and they won't build a custom decorator Cornwall in birch either
  3. Sorry in the sense that it would probably be helpful to include my location for potential sales.
  4. Looking for these Cornwalls to get into big sound and horns for my tube amp/pre. Running Harbeth now.
  5. Hi all, Looking for some excellent condition raw birch "Decorator" model Klipsch Cornwalls like the ones in this link: http://www.tmraudio.com/product/klipsch-cornwall-vintage-speakers-raw-birch-finish-1976 Thanks for looking. Best, –Rafe
  6. OK, I'll take care, hence the 320/600 sandpaper. Thanks for the feedback. I'm going to work on the bottom of the cabs first and make sure it's all good. Cheers
  7. Hi all, I finally was able to pick up a gorgeous pair of HWO Heresy IIs and am enjoying then immensely. The units are in great shape, with only some minor scuffs on the base, tops and sides. Hard to really notice unless you look for them, but the wood def could use some TLC. I was going to use a block hand-sander with 320 and then 600-grit sandpaper to just touch them up. My question is what to use to finish them? I'd prefer to keep the wood looking as close to original as possible. Watco? Is my technique to clean up these cabs sound? Thanks in advance! –Rafe
  8. I'm all about enjoying the music and relaxing, that's the whole reason for purchasing the speakers, my question was mostly to do with the sound, and whether there would be a difference between risers. Thnx!
  9. Hey all, I'm picking up my Heresy II's in a couple weeks. But they don't have Klipsch stands, and I was thinking of grabbing these: http://blog.enseignons.be/polkaudiopsw10review/2011/05/10/check-out-speaker-feet-floor-spikes-audio-cones-set-of-8/ to use instead, as they will be on hardwood floors. Any thoughts, suggestions? Would rubber isolation feet be better? Does Klipsch sell the stand seperately? Thanks in advance!
  10. Thanks for the heads-up on what to look for 'rocket. Much appreciated! Very cool indeed about the II's serials, I can't wait to listen to mine!
  11. Quick question: I have hardwood floors, and the Heresy IIs I'm looking at do not come with stands, is anyone using something like these with their Klipsch? http://www.ebay.ca/itm/ISOLATION-CONES-SPEAKER-SPIKES-COMPONENT-FEET-AMP-DAC-/180678716628?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_2&hash=item2a114a6cd4 Thanks!
