  1. Long week of work and I completely forgot to post pics. The C2500 is behind the center. I'm currently making my own speaker cables for the tube gear, so there aren't any cables to the MC275 at the moment. I just saw this post. That is a fantastic set up. Congratulations on a great system that is very tastefully set up!!
  2. You're very welcome. Glad you're pleased with them.
  3. Thinking about it, dont wait on me tho, really prefer RF-83, also this could get me in trouble with 'She who must be obeyed'. only an hour or more drive too, wonder how much an improvement from my current set up this would be, and will my center channel suck now ? Steve Sells- you are more than welcome to come and take a listen to the 63s. My next door neighbor works in Fort Wayne and I think his trip is less than an hour.
  4. Thanks!! I looked long and hard for the 63s also and considered myself really lucky to find a dealer who still had a pair of new ones.
  5. Truly mint condition, purchased new in August 2011, from a dealer in Wisconsin that was dropping the Klipsch line. The speakers have been used very little and look the same as they did when I purchased them. These were purchased for use at my lake house and I'm selling because I'm not using them enough to justify keeping them around. If you're not familiar with the RF-63, these were made in the U.S.A. with real wood, before Klipsch started producing almost everything in China using lesser materials. A very quality speaker. $1,200 Local pick up only in either Coldwater, Michigan or Toledo, Ohio.
  6. I can tell you that McIntosh and Klipsch sound great together. I have an MC402 hooked up to RF-63s, and MC501s hooked up to RF-7s. Both systems sound fantastic, but I think the MC501s/RF-7s hold a slight edge, overall.
  7. I'm very pleased with my equipment and look forward to combining the systems. I will talk to my dealer to see about running both subs but I'm concerned about my space being two small (18Lx15Wx7H). Thanks to both of you for the advice!!
  8. My center channel is an RC-7. I'm powering the RF-7s with McIntosh MC501s. I'm powering the RF-63s with a McIntosh MC402. The RC-7 will be powered by a Yamaha RX-V1. The sub I have with the RF-7s is an RSW-15, which I was planning on using with the new set-up. The sub I have with the RF-63s is an SW-311, which I was planning on selling, along with the RS-7s, if my new system works like I think it will. Any suggestions???? Anything in my plans that you think I need to worry about??? Thanks for your help.
  9. Thanks for the welcome as well as your advice. External amplification isn't an issue, as I'd be combining the equipment from my RF-63 system, which is currently a two-channel set up. My main concern was whether the timbre of the older RF-7s would clash with the timbre of the RF-63s.
  10. Hello All- Wondering whether anyone has any experience with using RF-63 towers as surrounds with RF-7 front speakers? I'm moving to a new house where the room in the basement I will be using will not really accomodate the RS-7 surrounds I am currently using. Good idea??? Any negatives???
