  1. here is another thread with pics of the sub I have, if you have a smaller room than I have, this sub works awesome, I have to push it past it's limits for the the size room I have. I have a LOT of hours in the cabinet on this sub. http://forums.audioholics.com/forums/pros-joes-systems-gallery/80503-shraders-ht.html?highlight=
  2. where are you located? I have a VERY nice piano black CSS trio 12 apr15 I am going to sell, I would let it go for $500, but shipping would be crazy.
  3. Would like to stick with the rb series if possible, I have rs42ii's for my surrounds now, and someday would like to go to the rf7ii system. was also wondering about the rear ports on those? does it matter they will be against the wall?
  4. depends a lot on the price, would have to be a steal for me to get the 61ii's
  5. looking for a pair of either for my rears, must be able to ship. let me know what ya got! Reply here please, or PM. Thanks, Adam
  6. I have had a few parties already, for the football games. My friends/family are impressed that we did it all ourselves, and can't beleive the price of speakers/audio/video equipment these days. Like them, I was out of the loop for 20 years or so, and was a little shocked when we started pricing stuff, but we put the whole room together everything included for a little over $10g, and did not have to go to the bank, so it is all free and clear, wihich is the best feeling. We found ALL the ceiling tiles off of craigslist, from a few different people used, and painted all 475 of them with my paint crew sprayer (what a mess). Having a problem with the driver on my sub bottoming, but still think I am going to order another kit and buid another one, css said the would replace the driver if need be, great company to deal with, and an awesome sub!!
  7. wish I had some money left lol I would take that set up in a heartbeat. I bought the biggest I could afford at the time, and plan to upgrade to the rf7ii's and rc64ii when I can swing it, the 52ii's to a pretty good job though, as I listen to movies at 0db, so they are plent loud enough, but are lacking a little in the mid dept. I plan on building anothe css sub in the very near future to help even out the lfe in the room.
  8. Thanks for the kind words guys, very satisfying that it was done without hiring everrhing out, and MUCH EASYER on the pocketbook! There are pics of the build in the link I posted, have to copy and paste, can't seem to make it clickable? http://s197.photobucket.com/albums/aa13/shrader_bucket/Basement/
  9. The sub is a diy. CSS trio12apr15. Ceiling is 7.5'. Yes, you can see the screen from the comode, lol. The screen is 100" would have liked to go bigger, but ran out of hieght, but it turned out to be about right for the seating distance, in fact i have to turn down the brightness on the pj to watch movies in the dark or it straines your eyes, but is awesome for watching sports with the lights on, i will put up a few screen shots later.
  10. Here is a link to the entire build..... http://s197.photobucket.com/albums/aa13/shrader_bucket/Basement/
  11. Yes, thanks. We have been spending a lot of time down there (it used to be a block basement) had 30 people over for the Packer game last week, and there was a ton of room.Total room is 25'X28'.
