  1. Speakers arrived, next week we'll install them with the mason, thank you Mustang! I'll let know how it goes!
  2. I'll look for it, thanks! I'll go mono-wiring, since bi-wiring is better in Stereo 2CH mode, for HT is not need bi-wiring, right? And I'll post some picture of the work, to help others if I can solve the puzzle to mount them in right way!!
  3. ...maybe I should make a wooden box, like in MDF (a light mixed wood thin wall as it is called in italy, used for example to build boxes for car stereo subwoofers), to host the speaker, and install the wooden box in the brick wall.. Any suggestion about this solution? Could it work?
  4. Thankyou Mustang Guy, for the welcome greeting and the quick reply!! I'm forced to in wall speakers due to Godly decisions..I mean, WAF rule, no escape from wife decisions in aesthetic and design of the new house lol!! And the Klipsch THX in-wall system is already on its way to my home.. Since it's a living-theater I mean living room with home theater (I can't use a bat-cave or dedicated room), I couldn't choose wall-mounted speakers..nor I can put dry-wall to cover every wall of the room to allocate the 7 speakers.. My biggest concern is, now, how to fix them in the wall.. For the wires no problem, the workers will cut a trace to allocate a rugged flexible pipe down from each "hole in the wall/speakers", to run under the wall and under the floor towards the Ampli-zone, where all the electronics will be allocated (new AVR probably Marantz 7008, klipsch ampli KA 1000 for the 2 sub, Xbox One, Oppo Bluray, Wii U, Decoder, etc)..the house is being built and these works are going to be done in these weeks.. To drive the system, since is mainly dedicated to HT of course, is the Marantz 7008 a good choice? I love how Marantz sound, and I prefer it over to Denon (even if they are form the same manufacturer) due to slightly better electronics and softness of its sound.. Thanks in advance!!
  5. Hello guys, I'm new to this forum, but since I've bought a 7.2 set of THX Ultra 2 in-wall speakers, I hope to feel right at home soon with you all! I've ordered the 3 LRC KL 7800, 2 Lateral surround KS7800, 2 back surround KL 7800, 2 sub KW 120 and their KA 1000 ampli. My questions are: -I need to install them in the walls of the new house, but I've got brick walls, not drywall to fit them in...can the workers just cut the right sized hole in the wall to install the speakers? How do they get anchored to the wall if they are not in a thin dry wall? -should I put isolating materials in the hole in the wall, to improve acoustic performance? Thanks in advance for the help, CU guys!
