  2. They did go to a forum member. If he wants to chime in, he's welcome to. But that's up to him. I'm glad they are going to someone who will appreciate them and is already a Klipsch-head.- Woody Posted from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. All ready for you guys to come over and give them a demo. They are sounding extra suh-weeeeeet! - Woody
  4. Thanks guys. They are cool speakers. I'd like to keep them around... but I've got my eyes on something else (non-audio) and I think these need to be a sacrificial lamb. We'll see. - Woody
  5. Yeah... I hope that doesn't piss anyone off. It's a loose quote from a member here. Basically the 2-way blends better and faster. They are great. - Woody
  6. SOLD SOLD SOLD! I've decided to sell off my one-of-a-kinda customized Klipsch KPT-904's. Instead of spelling it all out here, I'll point you to the article Klipsch did on them on their blog last fall. It's more colorful than me writing here. http://www.klipsch.com/blog/klipsch-kpt-904-speakers-frankenstein-edition/ The long and short of it is: • Crites custom networks • Custom Paint • Custom Grills • Great for SET and low watt tubes • Sounds awesome with SS too • Will better pretty much anything in the heritage line Hit me up with questions. No shipping. Pickup in Wichita, Kansas 67213 only. Asking $2600 obro. Cash. PP. Visa/MC/DISC/AMEX.Gold.
  7. Selling my wonderful Wells Audio Majestic integrated amp. I've decided to stick with my separates which cost more than double what this great amp does... It was a tough decision though. Retail is $3500 Asking $2700. Buyer pays shipping and PP fees. You'd have to spend a lot more to get an integrated amp that sounds better than this Majestic. It's only been out since the end of last year and just made it's big debut at AXPONA with Salk Speakers. The Wells Audio Majestic has all the grunt you need from a SS amp, but with a wonderfully musical and lush sound. I'd love to keep it, but I just can't justify it if it's not in my dedicated room and so it's up for grabs here. The amp was purchased from an Authorized Wells Audio dealer who had it in their showroom for a few months and then sent back to Jeff Wells and his crew for a checkup and to make sure it was 100% as intended, and then it was shipped directly to me. I am the first owner. The amp is in excellent condition. Includes remote. Please let me know if you have any questions. This amp deserves to be the centerpiece of someones main system. I'm very conservatively rating this an 8/10... but I'm sure they new owner will be happy. Specs and more info at WellsAudio.com: "Our new integrated amplifier, the Majestic, makes no compromises. Our objective at Wells Audio is to build the very best sounding audio equipment in the world, despite cost or design limitations. The Majestic may be the best example of that philosophy to date. At a robust 150 watts into 8 ohms and vanishingly low distortion and noise levels, the Majestic embodies the full, quiet, detailed, sweet and rich sound that is the hallmark of our success. We believe that the Majestic is not only the best performing integrated amplifier at or near its price point on the market, but that it competes with some of the best and expensive equipment in the world. The Majestic features 5 inputs (one pair XLR), a beautiful volumeter, and a remote control for muting or adjusting your volume. It's well-equipped, but is designed more like a Bowie knife than a Swiss army knife--sleek and functional. The Majestic is that rare integrated amplifier that can take its place at the heart of a truly high-end audio system, but do it without giving up the necessary power and performance that is the case with most integrated amps. Audition yours today. We think that the only things you'll find missing are the extra boxes, cables and complexity." “But with the Majestic, it transcends the bounds of audiophile technical description of sound. It has the ability to draw you into the music easily and consistently and make you forget about words. And when was the last time that was a bad thing?” — Francisco Duran, Positive Feedback, April 2016 Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  8. If you find one I still have a SWEET single Amperex PQ USA 7308 that would sound awesome in it. - Woody
  9. Bump. Lowered to $1200 shipped. - Woody Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  10. Yeah. I loved how they looked... And now I love how it sounds. I just have too much stuff around and this deserves better than streaming internet radio on my desktop. It works well with speakers like Klipsch's cause of its astonishingly low noise floor and smooth sound. It's great with my Klipsch's. - Woody Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
