  1. Thank you William, although I don't quiet understand all that I have read there it is very helpful. I am in the right path now I'll have my room sounding awesome in a little while.
  2. Can any of you recommend a goodDIY plan for making a good curved sound diffuser? I just can't see spending $500 plus each on something I know i can make myself for hundreds less. I know they're pegboard and some kind of insulation I think just not too sure how to build it.
  3. i do use a Klipsch sw-115 the thing shakes the house. the amp is $400 they make a home stereo amp i just found for around $900. I've been looking at purchasing another set of 7's or trying CV's high end speakers to go with my existing ones. I'm not the best on punctuation or capitalization.
  4. i would be connecting it to my yamaha rx a2030 till i can get something better maybe a NAD why would pro equipment cost less than home equipment is there that much difference between them seems like a pretty powerful amp to me
  5. Thinking on a cerwin vega cv-1800 anyone have anything good to say or bad about their amplifiers they just seem to be a bit low priced or do you get what you pay for with them i have a couple of RF 7 II's
  6. had a yamaha a while ago it was awesome switched to a dennon not too impressive so i thought i would go back to yamaha don't like it as much as the older one
  7. works awesome didn't turn it all the way up too loud but i turned it up well past wear it was cutting off and its still playing appreciate all the help thanks Flame still might want an amp though gonna get 2 more 7's i think or something to compliment these ones not sure yet.
  8. found it eco mode was off i changed the impedance i'm gonna try them out
  9. yes klipsh told me that i called because i thought i had blown the right speakers horn it sounded distorted at high levels and cut out he recommended more power at least 300 watts distortion occurs at the top end of the volume so its best to have some in reserve something like that and i cant change the impedance 8ohms only i'm pretty sure. they're bi-amped one internal amp for each channel i think if i use only one amp put the binders back in don't get me wrong they crank out some sound but the house 6 doors away can't hear them very good and i don't think they should cut off
  10. i have a yamaha rx-a2030 and it cuts off at about 3/4 power Klipsch rep says i don't have enough power the speakers are turning my receiver off due to distortion at the high end of my receiver i need at least 300 watts for each speaker
  11. I bought an RC64 for $1300 plus I'd like to know where anyone could pick one up for $600 or less and does anybody know why they're not ported my RS62 uses the same subs and they're ported i don't get it
