I'm returning this tomorrow, in the meantime I ordered a Logitech Z623. Will probably love it, since the last Logitech speakers I had lasted me 10 years.

Now the left speaker is making crackling noises

Strange, pulling out the big plug from the back of the subwoofer (I guess for the control knobs) and plugging it back in with the power on fixed it. I've had nothing but strange behavior from these speakers and I've only owned them for 5 hours. I hope this isn't an ongoing deal, might have to return them. I had an old pair of Logitech 2.1 speakers that lasted me 10 years with no hiccups like this.

For some reason, when I go over 50% on the subwoofer knob it cuts off completely. When I go back down below the 50% mark it suddenly kicks in. Why is this happening?
