  1. Price lowered to $400 + shipping! @joessportster: I, like many people into audio and tubes, like to try out different circuit designs and tubes. Therefore, I buy and sell amps as I try them out. If I had all the money in the world, I would keep every one of them, but I can only afford to own a few amps at any given time. I did purchase this amp when I saw it appear on eBay, as I was intrigued by the clementine 1626 circuit and the style of this amplifier. It was being offered for a little under $400 shipped, which I thought was a killer deal. It's a great amp, sounded amazing in my system, but I haven't developed any attachment to it. I want to narrow down my collection, sell some amplifiers to purchase another - sound familiar? I personally don't see why I have to sell something at the exact price I purchased it at, or lower, when I decide to sell it for whatever reason, as long as I am selling it for a reasonable price. Even at $550, this amp is a good deal. Now that I've lowered it to $400, it is a killer deal, just like when I purchased it. I'm not "flipping" amps, I'm just trying to enjoy the hobby on a budget that doesn't allow the retention of gear that I'm not using. Thanks for the concern.
  2. Price lowered! Please give this amp a new home!
  3. Price drop to $750 SHIPPED! Great SET integrated amp, now at a great price!

  5. Hi everyone, Just putting this up here to see if anyone local in the SF Bay Area is looking for a nice pair of Klipsch Chorus I speakers. I have an almost mint consecutive pair of Klipsch Chorus 1 speakers for sale. One speaker is absolutely mint, the other has a repair I did to the motorboard that cannot be seen with the grill installed. The repair can only slightly be noticed with the grill removed, which is actually how I use them. Both have original mint grills with badges. I even have the original boxes for the speakers. Really really nice speakers. Price: $700 Location: San Mateo, CA
  6. Up for sale is a cute and amazing sounding Darling SET amp. This utilizes the Darling/Clementine circuit board, 1626's and a 12SL7GT. Hammand and Edcor iron underneath a beautifully hand made maple chassis with faux ostrich skin top. Even though it only produces .75 WPC, this little "darling" amp produces a simply wonderful sound when paired with efficient speakers. Price: $400 + shipping Pics:
  7. I have up for sale a great single ended triode tube amplifier made by Tom McNally. The amp utilizes the Shannon Parks Get*Set*Go circuit and board. The result is a zero-feedback SET using 6B4G output tubes, one 6SL7 driver and a 6AX5 rectifier at 3 WPC. The 6B4G is considered the octal base 6.3V version of the popular 2A3 tube. This amplifier can also be easily converted over to use 300B output tubes with a couple of simple changes (swap out two resistors and use 4 pin sockets). The parts to convert this amp to use 300B tubes are INCLUDED! The upgrades that were performed on this amplifier by Tom: - Alps Blue Velvet volume potentiometer - Two sets of switchable inputs - James 6113HS output transformers - Jupiter Condenser HT beeswax paper capacitors Tube compliment: - 6AX5GT: Raytheon - 6SL7GT: Sylvania tall chrome top - 6B4G: Pair of Sovtek mono plates Price: $690 + shipping Pics:
  8. Hi guys, I have for sale a pair of Klipsch Forte II's. They are all original in the factory black finish. Grilles are original with badges. They are in excellent condition, with the only mentionable flaw being a patch repair done to one of the rear passive radiators - it was well done and the passive functions perfectly. Side note: I also have a single KP-250 speaker for sale for $200 Location: San Mateo, CA Price: $700 Pics:
  9. Hi guys, I have a pair of Forte II's and Chorus I's, and have been looking to own a pair of Chorus II's for quite some time now. If anyone in the California Bay Area has a pair they are tired of, or wouldn't mind parting with, please let me know! Thanks!
