  1. It's all good. I misread/miss things too! See below: The Klipsch spec sheet says it has "dual down tilt feet." http://www.klipsch.com/rc-7-center-speaker/details Thanks for the clarification on your cab with regards to being able to use the RC-7. I was way off on my perspective, that center space looked tiny, but that was only in comparison to your giant screen! My vote would be for an RC-7 to match those nice RF-7's and then I would think you would have a fantastic L/C/R front soundstage. Yep.. Totally missed that on the details page. I haven't had much time to sit and research the last few days! Thanks for the info!
  2. Roll that screen up about 8 inches and you can fit just about anything there, unless there is a TV behind it. -Bill Yeah, after seeing the pic of his console, there is no way an RC-7 goes in there. I was also wondering if he could raise that screen. If so, just about any MTM horizontally oriented center would fit and be better in terms of being closer to ears height. If the measurements on the Klipsch site are correct, and I would assume they are, then the RC-7 would fit no problem in the cabinet. When I built it I set it up so that I raise or lower shelving. That middle shelf can drop down or just come out. Width wise I'm 30.5" and the RC-7 is only 26. Does it have feet that can angle the speaker up?
  3. I kind of figured that but thought I still might take a shot at it. Roll that screen up about 8 inches and you can fit just about anything there, unless there is a TV behind it. What model SVS do you have there? Bill Just windows with curtains behind the screen. The height it's at now is perfect when you are sitting on any of the couches in the room. Eventually we are going to redo the living room and when that happens the screen will get recessed into the ceiling. The SVS is a PB-2000. I love it. I sometimes wonder if I am going to shake the mortar between the brick apart.
  4. I would like to go with another RF-7 as a center, but alas, check out the post above.
  5. Here's a shot of what I am working with. Sorry for the grainy picture, camera phones-n-all. And no, the sectional is not going to stay like this and continue to block the other RF-7. I currently have 2 couches, 2 end tables, a sectional and another leather chair in the living room so things are kind of cramped. Hopefully I can find an RC-7 in one of the local stores around here.
  6. Thanks for the suggestions! I will snap a pic when I get home, however I will warn everyone that we are in the middle of a, shall we say, furniture shuffle so the living room is a bit of a mess. And just to make sure I'm not off my rocker, this is the RC-7: http://www.klipsch.com/rc-7-center-speaker/details , correct? If so, then it will fit without a problem. The problem isn't the height of the cabinet but the width.
  7. Long time lurker, first time poster! To make a long story short I have become the proud new owner of a pair of Cherry RF-7's. My problem is that I am now looking to pair them with a good center channel. My setup is primarily for HT use. If I had to put a percentage on it I would say 90% HT / 10% Music. Currently what I have is a set of F-20's, C-10 and the Synergy surrounds that I can't remember the model number. Needless to say it's a big upgrade for the R/L mains. Back to my question. Due to size constraints I wouldn't be able to fit the RC-64ii in my cabinet. This has lead me to look at the RC-62ii or the newer RP-440c. The 450c just barely doesn't fit. What do you all think about using the 62ii or the 440c with the RF-7's? Thanks!
