  1. I'm getting ready to purchase a set of 7's due to a great deal here locally(1500 for the pair),I am dealing with a small room and have been reading here about placement,I am dealing with a 12x16 room I question even if they would perform correctly in such a small area. I'm going to grab them anyway because passing this deal up would cause me to kick my own arse for years to come. Is there such a thing as too small a room for these monsters? Ive read many threads on avr or seperates, placement, whether to run a sub with with, many different opinions.
  2. Thanks and yes I'm already looking at RF 7 porn!!! LOL
  3. Sweet jesus is all I can say after finally hearing my new mains on a decent amp... Hooked them up to my Marantz SR-18U and these 3's show me the true meaning of wow what have I been missing? Ive had a set of Eosone RSF1000's for the last 10 years, they are no slouches in the output department by any means, but on the same amp they were just trampled in output and put to shame in SQ! I was always skeptical about horns, not anymore. I'd heard friends klipsch mains before and always thought that they were lifeless and overly bright and then It dawned on me that most of the power they were using were cheap entry level recievers. The only reason I went with the 3's were the excellent reviews I had seen and I figured what I had heard was part of user error. I love these, and cant wait to delve into even more klipsch gear!!! Just had to share my joy! (wife rolls eyes)
  4. I agree that break in is in fact useful and does make a huge difference,as a former car stereo spl competitor I bought my competiton woofers straight from the builder, these woofers had suspensions you could actually stand on,they were totally useless as far as music went, But after break in and use, after a while instead of an spl sub you would end up with an sql sub. Night and day difference in the same sub...
  5. Hey thanks again,im used to just placing my sub up front with the mains. I did this and it put my sub at the front door so I just switched sides with it and its pretty close to the door anyway.
  6. Thanks for he excellent info guys, and please tell me what the sub crawl is.
  7. Thank you Snaffoo Didn't know this sub was that old, dont find any reviews on it either,I take it that its entry level belonging to the synergy series? Mine is like new, real nice for home theater, very boomy for music.

    KSW 15

Hello all, being new to klipsch but not home theater I've been searching for info here on all of the new gear I have now.The only piece I have that I dont find much info on is this sub and there really isnt much on the net about it either. Was this sub part of a HT in a box system? Or could you buy this as a single piece, was this an entry level sub? And lastly are there any owners of this sub here on the forum and what were experiences with it in relation to placement, settings and reliabilty? I appreciate any info and love my change from my 11 year old Eosone system to klipsch, the clarity of the horns is phenominal!
