hmmm...now i'm looking at it and am bothered. I do know that I have the couch off-center so that i can sit on the left side of it and be almost in the middle of the screen.

i was thinking about that. looking at the pic, would the soffit get in the way of the projection?

thanks! it was a bit bland so i built the poster frames and put LED strips in them to backlight them. turned out pretty sweet IMHO.
i'm happy with my speakers but want to build a couple of subs. been browsing the threads here. i have a hsu STF-3 and while it's perfectly fine, it's not enough for this space. at least that's what i think.
i also need a receiver. i'll have the funds saved up soon. i've got an old HK AVR 630. time for something new and sexy. and expensive. ugh.

still just the single HSU STF-3. i have also been toying with the idea of front height speakers. i could recess a couple behind the screen at a height of about 5'. would have to get an AT screen though. hmmm...
