I actually have the Gibson in the photo up for sale - which would justify all the Klipsch in use.

Yes I agree. My living room has lascala's, forte IIs and an academy center. My home theater has the University Classics with JBL 2360's with 4 EV FR12-2b surrounds and a KPT-904M center. My bedroom has Magnepan SMGa's. And I still have Heresy Is, IIs, ADS 810's, KLH 12's, KLH 17's, EV Fr12b's and an academy that are sitting idle. I really feel like I should sell some stuff to justify this Altec purchase. But I was thinking I should invite some forum members over and bring the Klipsch speakers all in one room for a listening comparison.

Thanks. I just brought the Altec 19's home to go with the Altec 707 receiver. But now I have way too many huge speakers. I don't know how I'll decide on what has to go.

Yes. They worked very well for the house concert, and so far so good for movies and music.

These are the University Classics that had the cobra flex horns and tweeters mounted inside.
I actually went to buy a pair of Cornwalls from a guy and he had a set of the JBL horns mounted on top of some peavey bass bins. He demonstrated his setup for me. I bought the Cornwalls, but then sold them a month later to fund these JBL horns.

And I can move my feet, but I don't know if my back take moving the cornwalls after getting those altecs up the stairs.
