are there any replacements left? i know my sws is buggy, it makes random noises all the time, aside from the funky control pod. i'd like to get a replacement if it's possible...

the pod doesn't bother me, but it does make noises randomly sometimes. i'm not sure why...it's not the pod.

Amy, I think one of my SWS sub might have a bad input or something. It makes popping sounds randomly. Sometimes when I move the control pod, it does it too. I don't want to go without the SWS because there's no way I could get this quality of a sub for the price I paid. I'd keep it if you guys can't fix it, because it's a small price to pay for such a great lil sub. But if you guys do have a new replacements, do you think it would be possible for me to get my hands on one?

yeah, i think i might have that problem too. one of my sws subs makes sounds randomly i think. but t hey don't make SWSs anymore...

play with the phase, and connect it only via sws link. you can tell the difference in output if it's the wrong phase

do u use two sws volume control pods when u connect two of them to the ultra sub? or just one?

that would be better than onboard for sure. why not try getting an audigy 2? you can get them retail for dirt cheap if you can still find them at best buys or office depots. if not, get an audigy 2zs. zipzoomfly.com has them for 87 bucks, free 2nd day shipping

no - i was debating whether or not to buy one. they say the sws is great and dedicated for lower notes, but the ultra sub hits lower than the sws as it is...

for 99 dollars, the SWS is a fantastic deal. i have one gripe though, the shipping just kills it. it brings it up to about 130. same happened when I bought my ultras. ended up paying ~450 for my ultras (ground). It's just insane. I dont know why Klipsch doesn't use FedEx Saver or something. I honetsly thing they'd make better business that way.
