    • Wally    Canada. I think oven light bulbs are still incandescent. Mostly incandescent bulbs are not available here anymore.   https://www.walmart.ca/en/ip/lava-25-watt-light-bulb/6000099196120
    • Ah, yes, Lysergic acid diethylamide. I thought were supposed to get that on our own. You had me scared there for a moment thinking you were reefer-ing (pun intended) to (the church of) Later Day Saints.
    • Geek reference to Shatner in Star Trek movie explaining that Spock had too much LDS in the 60's.
    • LDS? That could mean a lot of things.
    • Yeah but with live streaming there is no one to offer up the LDS.
    • Dang it! Ole Dollar, I had just gotten that 110 off my brain and you had to bring it back up!!
    • Never to be seen again!!
    • Thebes asks, What Da Heck Is "Live Streaming"? First, I assume you are referring "streaming live music"   "Live Streaming" is kind of like live broadcasts on FM radio. Don't you remember Thebes? You know, something like a New Year's Eve Grateful Dead concert broadcast Live, or your favorite symphony orchestra broadcasting the concert Live or the Nebworth Concert in the U.K Live for 8 hours.   Well, same thing, except it's being "broadcast" over a digital network called the internet which uses a global system of interconnected computer networks that uses the internet protocol suite (TCP/IP) to communicate between networks and devices. It's origins date back to the 1960's, when, as you know, vinyl was very popular.
    • Um, that's not how I read the RIAA specification, http://www.aardvarkmastering.com/riaa.htm (emphasis added):   1. The stereophonic groove shall contain two channels of information recorded as orthogonal modulations of a single groove. 2. The 45 degree-45 degree system is the standard. In this system the two mutually perpendicular axes of modulation shall be symmetrically disposed with respect to a normal to the disc surface. 3. The right hand information channel, as viewed by the listener, shall appear as modulation of the out side wall of the groove. 4. When equal in-phase signals are recorded in the two channels they shall result in lateral modulation of the stereophonic groove shall produce equal in-phase acoustical signals.
    • The truth is, with most SS amps the distortion (relatively speaking) is highest at the lowest output levels.
