    • Hi billybob,   thank you   My living room is not that big - roughly 32 square meter. I attached an old floor plan of the living room and painted a few things on it. The green block shows my sofa. The pink marks are outlets of speaker cables for surrounds, surround backs and center. The pink boxes are the Heresy IVs.  Didn't paint a center speaker outlet as I don't have one and need to pull a cable to the AVR that is dark blue.  The Surr outlets are 2,2meters from the ground on the wall. I think mounting speakers on 2meters is possible. That means, that they would be mounted 1meter above the ears. (Does this make sense?)   Thank you
    • I'm sure they would sound wonderful as Mustang suggests, but they won't defy the laws of physics associated with the geometry of a compression driver.    There is a trade-off with going to 2": Better SPL vs. beaming.    All concave compression drivers beam, this is typically above ~12kHz in the 1" exit CDs and  above ~6kHz in 2" BE will get you up to about 9kHz in a 2" or even higher with a K510.    There are other tradeoffs with 1" vs. 2" in terms of crossover points, 2 way or 3 way that I'm not familiar enough with. But I have compared a good 2" vs 1" driver and the speaker becoming "localized" (going from the speakers disappeared to the illusion being broken by every cymbal crash) was not a subtle one.    Is there some reason you need higher SPL in your situation that you would want to have beaming starting an octave lower?
    • Audeze LCD-1 headphones. Could not pass a discount, last pair in the shop. Always looking for things to try before buying, this time it was 15 minutes until the discount ends.
    • Hi @Ray_pierrewit   DAS is a very reputable Spanish company in the professional world here in Europe. Their products are very very famous. Unfortunately I never heard this K8 driver, but it looks very serious, the sound must be very good.     https://en.toutlehautparleur.com/brands-page/das-audio.html   https://en.toutlehautparleur.com/moteur-de-compression-das-k-8-16-ohm-2-0-pouce.html?___store=tlhp_en&___from_store=v2   https://www.dasaudio.com/en/     👍
    • yeah  ,    @pcbiz has 2 K-55V for sale for 150$ a pair with  brand new Diaphragms , the parts alone are worth more than the selling price , the k-55V is pretty hard to beat in a Lascala
    • — as did I. At first I thought ‘Heel was giving his man boobs a little lift😎 I do remember someone here having a similar procedure -
    • As much as I would love to say yes, no they cant. I'd be happy to be wrong.
    • That’s pretty cool.  I will post pictures of mine if I have a chance tomorrow.  It was my uncles and many of my earliest memories I have of him that console was there.  I want to keep the exterior look the same but have all new electronics and interior.
