  1. I bought a pair of Forte II's about 9 months ago. I ran them with an early 70's Marantz 2270, and thought they sounded great. I could only compare them to the early big Advents I had, but the sound was vastly improved. I had read here that tube was the way to go. Long story short I ended up buying a Cayin TA 30 w/all the mods from Paul at Bizzy Bee. I'm new to the tube amps but I couldn't be happier. Separation, diffenition and clarity are outstanding. I'm hearing a lot more music than I did before. My two cents says go with tubes. Good luck with your search.

  2. I just bought a Cayin TA30 from Paul and I'm really happy with it. I'm running it through Forte II's so when I saw your post it generated interest. I'm new to this tube thing and looking to tie my Thorens TD 160 to the Cayin. So I need to research phono preamps, any info on the NAD PP-2?

Can I get info on the Fitz/Armstong CD I want to purchase a one.

  3. Looking for any info on the Cayin TA 30. Had a great conversation with Paul at Bizzy Bee and wanted to hear from anyone who has owned one with or w/o his hop-up mods. I will be using it with Forte II's. I understand there is no phono jack, I want to run a CD and turntable.

  4. I just bought a pair of Forte II's and I'm running them off a Marantz 2270 that's over 30 years old. I would like to up grade and have heard the tube type amp & pre-amps will give a better sound. This is my first pair of Klipsch and I've been out of the stereo world for quite a few years and feel I'm at the novice level. Would appreciate any advice.
