get to know that there is a pair of Lascala's are on the sail localy.
hearing advise of one of this forum's meber i went to hear them and i kinda liked the sound.
currently i own Harman Kardon Citation II tube power amplifier with Jim McShine kits installed and heavily moded VTL The Ultimate tube preamp.
current speakers are Sonus Faber Cremona.
the room is L shape when "listening" part is 12 x 8 x 9 (LxWxH).

i heard lascala's in 20 x 12 x 9 room with audio note 300b set kit.
i liked big and life-like presentation, transparancy and dynamics.
i didn't felt that they're short in low end or top end.
but i've got an impression that there is some kind of coloration and nasality in the mid and treble screamed when pushed hard.
i don't think that i've heard this lushed/silky kind of treble - but perhaps rotel rcd-991 CD player, which was the source, is also responsible for that.
i was hoping that you could help me with following questions:
1. are my impressions correct?
2. can you try to predict how can they sound with my gear and/or in my room?
3. how in general would you compare lascala's sound with modern good refined speakers?
4. it's hard to decide to make a move to horn+set world. how is it to be there?
