  1. The sitting position will not be against the wall. The couch will be in the middle of the room with about 12 ft or so behind it. I'm beginning to think if I should try to find some wall mounts for the RB 35's that I have and just put them on the rear wall and not even mess with these in ceiling ones.

Does anyone know where to get some wall mounts that would hold RB 35's?

  2. Yeah I'm not sure what to do, I would love to use my RB 35's for rears like I currently do but I'm not sure if about a good listenting position for them and mounts big enough to hold them on the wall or ceiling. Klipsch dealer is 90 miles away each way so I can have them stop over easily.

  3. They will have to go in the ceiling as the back wall is to far back to go in the wall.

Basically have the room will be tv / couches etc, and the other end that will be behind the couches etc will have a pool table and bar area.

  4. Building a new house right now and plan on framing the basement up in the next few weeks. I'm looking at getting a pair of in-ceiling speakers that will go well with my RF 35 Mains, RC 35, and 15" sub. I currently use RB 35's for rears but no way I can really mounth them at a good listening level in this room. Would the CSR-650r be be the best choice? Around $200 for the pair and then I would need to get the kit also for mounting.

Just looking for more imput before I order them through my dealer.

  5. The beam will be steel I am pretty sure. I'm not sure if it will be big enough to mouth the RB 35's though. I can get all the cable ran before everything is drywalled. It is just coming up with a good speaker layout and deciding if a 7.1 system would sound good if I were to maybe move the rb's to the clear back by the bar area, and maybe have some of the other rear speakers in the middle area? Just not sure if I can get a decent speaker layout with the spakers on the wall.

  6. I need to find something to hire wires for receiver, ps2/xbox, directv etc. What do you all use? This is for a family room pretty much that is why I was leaning towards a entertainment center deal to go around the tv. Somewith with shelves on both sides etc and a top to sit the center channel on.

  7. I also forgot to ask if anyone knows of some good online stores to check out enterainment centers that woudl fit around a Mitsubishi 65" widescreen as I want to get one of those and hopefully not pay $1700 from my home theater dealer.

  8. Ok, I have the final floor plans for my new basement that is supposed to be dug next week. I was wondering what you guys think would be the best layout for my 65" widescreen tv, Klipsch system of RC 35, RB 35 (rears), and RF 35's. I also havea a 15" Titanic Sub. My denon receiver does support 7.1 so I'm thinking of going that route if the speaker layout would work good.

As you can see in the layout we plan on having a bar along that back wall and pool table back there with the tv etc going along the other wall next to where the stairs come down. We do have a beam going across the ceiling in the middle that is only about 12 inches so I don't think I can do much for mounting on that. I would love to get the rears off the floor if I can.

Thanks for any input you guys can give me.

  9. Ok, well I have a RF 35, RC 35, EB 35 system with Denon receiver. Today there is a ad placed in the paper for a pair of RF 7's for only $300. I'm going to go check them out in the morning. I'm just wondering what it will sound like if I replace teh RF 35's with the RF 7's? Can I move the 35's around to the back and the RB 35's to the sides for a 7.1 setup? Anyone have any input?

  10. Hey guys, system has been working great except for some reason yesterday when I was fixing my dish network, the receiver started displaying everything bigger than usual. I can't see everything that I am supposed too. I can barely see the scrolling bars at the bottom on those channels etc. I have went through the manual have yet to find anything about this. Can anyone help me out please? My tv settings are all fine it is only big for anything that I run video through the receiver. PS2 and Dishnetwork, if I move the PS2 off the receiver and directly to the tv it works fine.

    Any thoughts?

  11. hmm maybe I should ask this. I got it all setup, but if I switch from dvd to like cable, or sat sometimes the rears don't play and if they do the sub won't work. After a while of going back and forth between some buttons on the remote I get them both to work. Just not sure what I'm missing when I configure everything. Any help would be much appreciated if are familiar with denon or the 35 klipsh series. I have a titanic 15" sub also.

  12. Got all my new stuff hooked up and playing. Trying to find someone with a Denon 2105 that I can talk to on one of the instant messaging programs if possibly. Need to get it set up properly and not quite sure what to do. Any help would be appreciated. If you got the receiver or can help me reply with a instant messager info and I'll send ya message.

    Thanks!

  13. Hello, another newbie question from me :) Picking up my speakers tomorrow and wondering if I will need to buy a new power strip for everything? Is a normal one good or do I need one of those heavy duty ones? Also why would you run coax cables through that then to the receiver or tv etc? I can't see spending 100+ on a power strip unless I absolutely need it.

    Thanks!
