Sorry for the repost, I'm still finding my way around. Anyway, does anyone have any experience in installing loaded-mass sheet vinyl or similar materials to the framing or drywall in their theater rooms to block sound transmission? I'm close to pulling the trigger and want to know if it is worth the investment and what type of issues may arise if I do so. Are there cheaper, more effective solutions. I'm in a basement with bedrooms directly overhead and want to isolate the theater experience. I will be using a 6.1 RF-7 system in a room about 21' long x 10' wide by x 8' tall.
