Klipsch states the F3 matches the C-3. I didn't Klipsch made a S-2 center channel speaker? I think amazone sells the older synergy series on their site but I don't know of anyone who caries the new series besides Best Buy.

The Yamaha is the V730 and I can't remeber the Pioneer. It was their entry THX elite model from a few years back. I bought both at Tweeter.

The Pioneer was a little older and did not have component connections. The Yamaha did and offered one more digital audio connection.

I currently have the following HT Klipsch set-up Synergy C1/2.1/1.1 with a Boston Acoustic sub-woofer. I recently switched receiver from a THX Pioneer Elite to a Yamaha (more connections, a little less power) and my speakers seem a little flat. I went to Best Buy recently and looked at the new synergy series but don't really care for their looks and build. I didn't get a chance to listen to them. What do you guys think of them? Are they the same as the earlier versions. I'm more interested in the center channel speaker C3 and bookshelf B3. I did see a pair of F3 open box speakers for $229 but I don't really care for tower speakers. I owned a pair of Klipsch SF-1?? but sold them to buy the 2.1 instead. I don't use my HT system for music that often, mostly for watching TV, DVD, and video games.
