  1. Thank you gentelmen, And here lies the whole issue. I am connecting Analog and Digital, DVI, S-Video and a Sony DVD. I'm good at the PC specs, but how do I tie all the A/V together? 1. The screen is a Samsung 192MP. 19" TV, Monitor, 1280 x 1024 with HDTV ready. Picture in Picture, watch a DVD and surf the NET at the same time. 2. I've choosen an ATI FireGL graphics card V7100 (about $700.00) 3. Asus P5AD2 PCI Express Motherboard - 16 Lane (this sucker will fly :S) FireGL V7100 PCI Express Innovation Powers High-End Graphics The FireGL Visualization series of workstation graphics accelerators is designed specifically for the new, high-bandwidth PCI Express® bus, whether PCI Express x16 lane or AGP 8X are designed to accelerate 3D workstation applications based on OpenGL® and Microsoft® DirectX® 9.0. With full certification on the leading computer aided design (CAD), The M-Audio, mentioned above, looks great. The Delta 66 delivers 24-bit/96kHz to your desktop, complete with digital I/O for pristine file transfers and surround sound passthrough. Thank you for your input
  2. Thank you Meuge, I'll google for those to check them out. This "was" the way I was heading. Cost is $299.00 But what I forgot to mention in my 1st post is that I've also have a Sony CD-DVD Burner & Player. The will all link together with the Pro Media 5.1 Ultra. Any help and advice will be apprec. Dncdesign
  3. Thank you Sir. I know who Nvidia is. He married Elsa from the old Elsa Gloria graphics cards. They "used" to be the best. But now Elsa is sleeping with ATI who supplies all the processor chips. I wish to go one step further and see how you guys are configuring the large screens and sTHX and then adapt that into a PC, in some way. It'll handle it b/c the new Asus Motherboard has built in: 1. The onboard 8-channel HD audio (High Definition Audio) 2. CODEC enables high-quality 192KHz/24-bit audio output, 3. Jack-sensing feature, retasking functions 4. Multi-streaming technology that simultaneously sends different audio streams to different destinations. 5. You can now talk to your partners on the headphone while playing a multi-channel network games 6. The Dolby Digital Live technology from Dolby Lab encodes the multi-channel audio source into AC-3 bit-stream and outputs it to S/PDIF port in real time. 7. Coaxial, Optical S/PDIF out on back I/O port 8. TI 1394b controller supports - 2 x 1394b ports @ 800 Mbps speed - 1 x 1394a ports @ 400 Mbps speed I want everything controller thru the PC. regards, Dncdesign
