  1. The receiver puts out 100 watts @ 6 ohms for 5 channels 200 watts @ 3 ohms for sub channel The Quintents say 100 watts @ 8 ohms for satellites 100 watts @ 8 ohms for center channel The KSW 10 Sub says 225 watts into 4 ohms Do I or will I have a problem with these numbers?
  2. Everthing works (all buttons) but no sound until it warms upo. I timed this this morning and it took 5 minutes for it to power up. I was told that that is normal for older receivers with amps.
  3. I didn't time it. I would aree with you and say it feels like 2 minutes, but it's not really 2 minutes. What I forget to mention was that at first there is no sound then it slowly increases to what ever the volume is set to.
  4. It takes all the speakers and sub a few minutes to get the sound. What I noticed last night was a green light/diode inside the receiver that comes on when I turn the receiver on and when the green light/diode goes out the speakers come on. It does this in any mode (Sat,TV,CD,DVD,VCR1,VCR2,Tape, and Tuner).
  5. Long time reader first time poster. I have the Quintet system with the KSW-10 sub. My Receiver is an RCA RT2500. The problem is that when I turn the receiver on it takes about 2 minutes for the sound to come on. What would cause this?
