    • Since your 9s play down to 34Hz with their Dynamic Bass Extension down to 22Hz, I'd say you might not experience the benefits of a subwoofer. Those are pretty low frequencies especially for a bookshelf sized speaker.   I don't have real world experience with the 9s and a sub but my opinion is most music would benefit from a subwoofer.   Also, I don't know if the Klipsch Connect app allows to send a high pass signal to the 9s while directing low frequencies to a subwoofer. One benefit of typical arrangements filters out low frequencies being sent to the satellites alleviating them from working hard to produce low frequencies, giving that job to the subwoofer. If the app does that then by all means get a subwoofer. You'll be able to play the system louder without straining the built-in amp, or the speakers.   If the app doesn't high pass a signal to the 9s and direct low pass signals to the subwoofer, then I wouldn't bother with a subwoofer. Because the Dynamic Bass Extension feature your system plays low enough.

    • Perhaps you were not aware. Maple syrup, disintegrator guns and hats all walk hand and hand with vinyl records. 😁 Honestly, how can you discuss one without the other? 😇
    • TTTsss..what´s going on here 🤣 Since we´ve got newbies in this international thread we´re talking about maple syrup, disintegrator guns, hats and a the last post from @imeiamme so full of poetic ...... 😉   My last day in the rehab , need to leave my room now, waiting for a bath with @dirtmudd and later on a waterbed hydraulic massage ...see ya soon ..
    • Link doesn't work here either
    • I love my 9’s, they are 3 weeks old. I wanted to find out if anyone has paired them with a sub and if so what did you buy and has it improved the sound? I only listen to music , no game or home theater. Thanks in advance!
    • Hello everyone!   Following on from my 1st post back in 3/10/2022, I've since fixed a few Cinema 600 power supply boards for other owners. They all had the same failure with capacitors C05 and C06. I replaced them with 220uF 16V part from NCC (Nippon Chemi-Con) KZE series. This is not a common size part. You may use 220uF 25V instead but it'll be a tight fit.   As some others have noted here, the +5V and ground cable colors seem to deviate from set to set. For those having problem with their power units from Amazon, do trace the respective cables back to the amplifier board (left most connector) and wire them accordingly. I've attached a photo here for reference.   STB need not be connected, it's only needed with the original power board. You can safely insulate it with electrical tape and tuck it away.
