  1. The Home Theater Master have both IR and RF versions.

    IR

    MX-500

    MX-700

    IR & RF

    MX-600

    MX-650

    MX-800

    MX-850

The Home Theater Master remotes use RF to transmit to a RF base station that has IR transmiters to control the equipment.

The MX-700, MX-800, and MX-850 are all programed from a computer very easy to work with the MX-500, MX-600, MX-650 do not use a computer for programming. I have a MX-700 and I am able to do pretty much anything I could need with it a great remote.;Check out this web site for more info on Home Theater remotes all these remotes are part of their Custom Professional Products line.

  2. I went with these brackets a bottom clamping type bracket so I did not have to modify the speakers in any way. here are the specs for those brackets.

Speaker bracket is designed for curved front speakers, but suitable for all small & medium speakers.

Slim-line wall bracket ideal for stud mounting on walls.

Clamps loudspeakers at the side using Ultragrip high friction pads.

Full metal construction for strength and durability.

Molded plastic cover for mounting plate hiding the screws giving a clean "Stealth" look.

For speakers with minimum width of 5.5" (134mm) to maximum of 11" (280mm). With a maximum depth of speaker 13" (330mm)

    Swivels Right and Left 180°

Tilts up and down down 7°.

Maximum weight of speaker 55 lbs. (22 kgs.)

  3. I am looking at wall mounting a pair of RB-35's and need some recomendations for wall brackets to use. I would like to be able to tilt the speakers downward. I would also like some recomendations for wall mounting RS-35's also again I would like to tilt the speakers downward as well.

    Thanks

    Jeff

  4. Yes bookshelf speakers are a must since floor space at the front of the room is at a premium with the TV, Component rack, House Front entrance, and entrance to main hallway the speaker will have to be mounted on the wall was thinking bookshelf since they could be wall mounted. As for a budget I would like to keep it under $2500.00 if possible as always the less the better.

  5. Ok I am upgrading the sound system in my Home Theater/TV/Living Room. The room size is aprox 18ftx12ft with 8ft ceiling the walls and ceiling are all hard surfaces (skim coat plaster, glass, and steel) with carpet on the floor. The seating surfaces are all leather in the room. I currently have a 7.1 setup from Polk Audio RM6500 with two additional satellites all mounted near the ceiling. I just upgraded my AV receiver to a Marantz RS-8500. The usage is about 80% movie/TV 20% Music the Polk speakers do fine with the movie/TV however not so well with the music. My music tastes is varied from including Oldies, Jazz, Country, Soft Rock, almost anything except Acid Rock, Punk Rock, or Rap. This speaker upgrade will take aprox 1-2 years to complete with the first part being upgrading the front speakers and center speaker using the existing satellites and sub. I want to be able to mount all the speakers on the wall near the ceiling like current configuration due to room layout.

The proposed new speaker setup is as follows looking for advice and or other options.

    Fronts RB-35's wall mounted

    Center RC-35

    Side Surrounds RS-35 wall mounted

Rear Surrounds RB-10 or RB-15 wall mounted

    Sub RW-12

Opinions or recomendations wanted like I said this will take 1-2 years to do with fronts and center first then side surrounds followed by sub then rear surrounds last anyways that is the plan.
