I had my Promedia 5.1 originally repaired by Elliot quite a few years ago. Recently I started to get the hum and finally last week I'd had enough. I stumbled upon this thread and decided to give it a shot.
Much thanks to stpete cooling and everyone else that contributed to this thread for the info on the C35/C36 cap replacement. The walls are shaking again
