  1. Thank you ccsakura for the offer. Hopefully everything will fall into place for you. I would love to see some pictures. I am sure they are in good shape. I was wondering what the difference was between the RF-3's and the RF-3II's? I looked at the specs and can't find much of a difference. Is one better than the other in your opinion? Thanks again and i look forward to hearing from you.
  2. Thank you guys so much for your input. I am going to keep my RB-35's for now and am currently looking for some floorstanding speakers. I think your right about using them for rears. As far as the sub goes, it is for sale on Ebay right now, and with the money i get for that, i am going to get either the Sub-12 or the RW-12. When we are finished with our addition, if there are any funds left, then i will start toying with the idea of getting a top notch sub, like the RSW-15. Until then, i think i will be happy with either sub. Thanks again......
  3. Thank you for your input. I will definately try to find a dealer in my area. I did the "find a dealer" tab, but unfortunately all the dealers in my area don't sell Reference. Oh well, if i have to i will drive to Bellingham Wa. Thanks again, Daryl
  4. I am looking to upgrade my HT. I currently have RB-35's that i am selling. I would like to purchase some floorstanding speakers. I currently have the Reference 35 series. If anyone is interested, please let me know. Thanks , Daryl
  5. There are a pair of RF-3's on Ebay i am thinking about getting. They are 650.00$. Before i pull the trigger, is there anyone on this board that has a pair of RF-3 or RF-35's they want to sell? I would rather give my money to someone on this board then someone on Ebay. Plus, they would more than likely would have taken better care of them. Thanks again....Daryl
  6. I will more than likely need stands for my bookshelf speakers. Where is the best positon to place them. What kind of stands look the best? As far as floorstanders go, i will just keep my eyes and ears open until i find a nice set somewhere. If anyone is looking to sell some RF-35's or RF-3's, i would love to check them out. I live in Tacom, Washington just so you have an idea as far as shipping goes. As for my sub, I will be listing it on Ebay tonight. Hopefully i can get 400.00 for it. Anyway, thanks for the input and look forward to more.....
  7. Thanks Chris. I will definately look into the SVS subs. I paid 440.00 for my sub and that is including 40.00 for shipping. In your opinion, should i keep my current sub and maybe add a second sub, or should i sell my current sub and get a 12inch. I guess what i am asking is, if i get a bigger sub and keep my RW-10, will i even be able tell the difference? I would like to think i can get at least 400+$ for my sub, since it is brand new. Thanks again.....
  8. Hello everyone! My name is Daryl and i am now officially an audiohollic.(spelling?) Ever since i started reading the threads on this forum, I somehow got the "bug or illness". It all really started when i purchased a new computer and needed some speakers that sounded good. I went to Best Buy( i know, big mistake) and listened to 10 different types of speakers. I confess, i have never even heard of Klipsch until then. There was something about these speakers( promedia 2.1 THX) that stood out. The sound was unreal. Bought them last year and the rest is history. I have been hooked ever since. I currently have a Phillips home theater in a box hooked up to 51inch Toshiba. But in my spare bedroom, I have in the waiting, a pair of RS-35's, RB-35's, a RC-35 and an RW-10. Oh, i also have a Pioneer VSX-1015TX. My wife and I are in the middle of a home addition. She calls it an addition, i call it a dedicated home theater room. Anyway, the room is a 16w26long with a vaulted ceiling. I have several questions, so i hope you all are patient with me. On a scale from 1-10, i am about a 3 when it comes to home theater, (I gave myself a 3 because at least i know Klipsch is the best) Now keep in mind, there are 0 Klipsch dealers in my area that sell the Reference Series, so there was know way i could demo these or hear them before i bought them. Best Buy doesn't sell the Reference Series for some reason. I will be using my setup for mostly movie watching-(90%movies 10%music), Should i have gotten the RF-35's over the RB-35s? Is there that much of a difference in sound?I was thinking of maybe selling my RB-35's and getting some RF-35's. I know that there is about a 250.00 price difference, but i think i could swing it. Also, i heard the RF-3II's are pretty much the same as the 35's? I have about 5 or 6 hundred dollars left for my budget. I was also thinking i screwed up when i bought the RW-10 instead of the RW-12. I have also heard the Synergy Sub-12 is a pretty good sub for the $. Anyway, any thoughts or opinions would be much appreciated. Thanks for taking the time to read this and i am looking forward to some quality input.......
