That's strange that it would switch from left to right. It could be the wiring in the pod...
Also, make sure you have only the bare wire connected to the sub.

Try this test:
Switch the purple and green plugs in your sound card (unplug first). If the same speaker (the one connected to the rear right output of the sub) is dead, then the problem is with the sub. If the problem moves to a speaker connected to a front position of the sub, then the problem is likely with the control pod wiring.
Let me know!

I believe a shipment of the 230v 4.1s went out to our European distributor at the end of March. I'm not sure of transit times... but they are on their way! Another shipment won't be far behind...

We don't have an official recommendation. Just far enough so it doesn't cause visible interference!

The shipping and receiving department in Hope is extremely busy, and I'm sure Erica was estimating long just to be safe. Feel free to send me an email with your RA number, and I'll make inquiries for you.
Thanks,

Could be a problem with the sub, or possibly the preamp.
Send me an email!

Toward the cables (backwards). The best way I've found to do it is to hold the speaker up and use your thumbs to push on the pod.

No, you cannot hook up an extra sub to the 4.1s, and we do not sell subwoofers separately.
Sorry!

My email was down part of the day yesterday (3/27), so if anyone sent me an email and I haven't replied yet, please try again.

CitizenX,
The 4.1 control pod was made to have a tighter fit, but it will still slide off. Just apply steady pressure...

Skute,
I think the 4.2s are just as good, if not better. It's a matter of opinion, though.
People are actually going "nuts" for the 4.2 deal... They have been selling quite well.

The 4.2 satellites may be rated at a lower wattage, but they can certainly fill a room at half volume. Don't even take that into consideration when you're trying to decide between the two.

I don't believe there is such a converter. There is a cable that some people have tried that is sold by www.americandj.com, search for DIN-EX25.
**WARNING**
The problem with getting an extension cable with the 400 or 4.1 is the tendency for the cable to act as an antennae and pick up all kinds of electrical interference that result in a buzzing noise. This phenomenon doesn't happen with the 2.1.

Yes, the cp-1 has headphone amplification. Andy W knows a lot more than I do! When he posts, pay attention
--Amy
-
The 4.2 setup can use a ps2 cable to extend the mini-din plug. This will not work on the v2-400 or 4.1 because they use the standard din.

Do they still sound distorted after they've had a chance to cool off? 80% volume is excessive...do you have to turn it that high to get good sound? What do you have your windows volumes set to?
