[Replacement Amp for KSW-10?]

well I went ahead and bought it... not in stock right now but should be soon. The plate is slightly larger than the stock klipsch plate so I shouldn't have to do much to the box to attach it and hopefully it'll sound good.

I'll keep you guys posted for anyone else who is in my situation.

man man man, why couldn't I have known about this Friday? Apparently my Best Buy only did that deal on Friday... back up to $399 today... and my dumb KSW-10 died this week too... would have really helped me out.

Only about $100 which is within my price range... looks to have all the same functionality that the existing plate-amp has...

[Replacement Amp for KSW-10?]

Hey... I have a KSW-10 that just stopped working yesterday. It won't power on... make any noise, no light in the front, etc. I've checked all the connections, the fuse, used my multi-meter to detect that the power IS getting to the amp coil (whatever it is) but is not getting any further, etc...

So, I'm resolved to just scrap the amp on this box and move on... anyone have any ideas for me? The box and speaker are in great shape, I just need a new amp unit. I'm not an audiophile by any means but I do miss the bass in my theater system that I never noticed before.
