  1. I'm wondering as they appear to be seperated by quite a few differences (down firing/front firing) digital, etc. Has anyone heard them both that can vouch for the difference? I would love a new sub for my RF82/RC62/RB61 combo, but It has set me back a bit so I can't jump at a sub just yet. I have had no major complaints with the KSW12 either..
  2. I noticed the other day I was getting ready to accommodate my new RF82 speakers that are coming, and moved my sub around and al of a sudden, the frame around the bottom of woofer comes out and is broken in 4 places. Is the sub toast? I've been afraid to even turn it on in fear of damaging it.
  3. Well I decided to get the RF82s (thinking it may be a bit overkill for my condo right now,but I'm buying these for the long haul when I buy a house in a few years Also, I decided to go with the RB61s over the RB51s because frankly, I was a bit surprised at how small the RB51s were! Bestbuy wouldn't allow me to pricematch + use a 12 percent off coupon, so instead we negotiated to 15 percent off. so $850 for pr of RF82 and $340 for pair of RB61. Now I need to find a good deal on an RC62
  4. This is why I didn't go with the 52. My RC3 is about the same size as the 62 is so I'll see if I can find a good price on it.
  5. I'm curious about the difference between the two besides the woofer size. Are there any other noticeable differences? Would an RC-52 work OK with RF82s?
  6. Thank you for the quick responses.. a little more about my setup I'm running a 12 inch Klipsch sub (non-digital) KSW12 I believe. The reason I would like to do everything is BestBuy is offering no interest financing for 3 yrs, so it's tough to pass up. I'm not SUPER audiophile, but I do like to pride myself on having an above avg setup (which I would think what I'm planning is, no?) It's being fed by an Onkyo TX-SR803, which is a pretty great receiver I have to say. I will not touch the sub until I buy a house in a few years and move out of my condo, so the KSW12 will have to do for now.
  7. I'm new here, but a long time Klipsch owner! Ok, so my fiancee approved of my speaker upgrade. I have a simple question for you guys: My current Klipsch setup is KSB 3.1 in front, RC3 for center, KSB 2.1 in back. This was a bookshelf setup thats about 8 yrs old and was bought when I was just starting up. I'm going to be getting RF-82s for the front, RB-51s for the back, and *debating* RS-42s (though I don't have alot of room for them, so that might get shot down) So how much of an improvement will I notice in my speaker upgrade? I listened to the 82s today at BestBuy and was VERY impressed. I would buy the RC-62 but BestBuy doesn't carry it and the RC-52 looks alot smaller. Will the new setup work with the RC3 well? The RC3 is/was a great center. I'm planning on purchasing tommorow night so any insight would be greatly appreciated!
