Can anyone give me an objective rationale as to how klipsch can charge $2000 more for the cornwall then the heresy? I admit I could be way off but it seems to me the only difference is the cornwall uses a little more mdf and a slightly larger woofer, maybe some slightly different crossover parts. Labor wise I can't see much difference they both seem to be simple boxes the only difference I can see is one is sealed and the other ported. How much does it cost to drill a hole in a board?? Maybe it is just me but I can't see the justification in the price difference!

Inspite of there efficency I'm starting to get the impression that the 3's are amp killers. I'm not in a position at the moment to play my music very loudly. Should I be looking for a different speaker?? Is it not very enjoyable at lower output. I currently have a 5watt/ch glow audio amp-1, which I think bested my jolida 302-b for half the price. Will this just not be enough amp?

I was wondering if anyone out there has spent any time listening to the heresy 3's. I'm looking at making a new purchase but there is no dealer in my area so I have no oppurtuinty to audition them. Generally I tend not to like metal tweets and I'm concerned they may be a little to bright for my liking. Also they seem they may be a little light in the base department. I currently have the Glow Audio amp1 (integrated) and the Arcam cd73 with DNM cables. any input I can get would be very appreciated. Thanks!

I was wondering if anyone out there has heard the 3's and if they could tell me a little about them. There are no dealers in my area so I have no chance to audition them. I'm afraid they may be a little to bright for me (I've never liked metal tweets) or have poor base response, 58hz for a twelve inch woofer seems kind of light weight. Any suggestions on what kind of cables they like, silver vs copper. Right now I have a glow audio amp (5watts) and an arcam cd73 would this be a good combo. Any input would be appreciated. thanks

I have been considering the purchase of the heresy 3's, however, I am very cocerned about their bottom end. I'm in no way a base freak, however, 58hz seems awful light for a speaker with a 12 inch driver. I currently own a pair of tyler acoustic reference monitors that have 6.5 inch SEAS drivers in them and they go down to 44hz. I have the new glow audio amp one (5watts) that is why I am looking for a more efficient speaker. I live in San Antonio Texas maybe someone out there has a pair I can listen to. By the way the cornwalls are out of the question, to rich for my blood
