From seeing these power issues, and in my situation where the gear is located at the shop as listed.

I have been powering all the gear off with the master on the Monster Power strip when I leave for a few days.

Being the subs of this type are sorta always on in standby mode, is this possibly the cause of

these power outage/fuse/amp failures.

I can't imagine sub amps blowing from max power applied, or you'd need to re-screw the

sheetrock back on. If I had mice, I'll bet the neighbors are dealing with them now.

Some Tv's used to have this problem in the early days of instant on.

By all means, I have no idea at what point the sub sees the signal from the A/V unit to come on.

At least this post lessons the shock value of what to expect.

It seems that a box that large could easily accept two 18 or 15 inch drivers in a ported configuration.

You took the words point blank of what I was thinking. Impressive construction for sure.

So, with duct work, one could vent a port to each room.

I am willing to be it's a bit of a placement issue with regards to where you are seated vs. the sub.

Greetings, My first post.

I have to agree with Michael,

I have the RT10 placed in a odd spot at the shop, being this is not a home setting.

When I enter the shop through the next door, leaving it open, the sub doesn't follow me out to the shop even though it's pounding

the sheet-rock to submission in the other room and stays trapped in the small room of the office. I can feel it somewhat.

The main speakers are out in the shop, and the sub is located back in the office with the rest of the gear.

I'm just waiting to find 2 more subs just for the shop side.

Now to figure out how to formating of post...
