The grills are like new with no tares or snags and all the pins are intact. The drivers measure just under 8" and the speakers stand 42" tall. These bad boys are pretty heavy! I have a similar problem, the TV is in the corner to be seen from the kitchen table. If I get much bigger TV, I would need to get skinner speakers. I am using KLF-30s as fronts, the Klipsch Chorus II won't fit, and with the fireplace on the side wall, I can't pull the TV out into the room much more. I agree on the KG 5.5's, it is a great deal. I had a pair and they sounded great, sold them to pay for my KLF-30s. They were my first pair of Klipsch (now up to 15 pairs, 3 subwoofers, 4 centers, and 2 orphans). Someone go grab these!

Sorry, very tough day here. I didn't notice the error in the CL posting. I like it when they call the KG 4 a 4-way speaker (1 horn, 2 front woofers, 1 rear passive).

They are Heresy I (birch). You can make out the woofer, midrange and tweeter horns, if you look closely.

$900/best offer For sale are a pair of Klipsch rf-83 speakers. these were bought new in 2009 for a upscale Home Theatre and have only had 5 hours use. They are beautifully Polished Black, these speakers are monsters, they stand around 5 feet tall around 2 ft deep and weigh around 100 lb each. I paid $1279 each for them $2600 total. the reason i am selling is because i have remodeled my media room and have all Klipsch inwall speakers. The finish is beautiful there are a couple of small marks on the speakers but none are noticeable from the fronts or sides.
