  1. Given the money I spent , about 700 bucks, I couldn't have made a better choice in building this sub, I haven't heard any other sub from a manufacturer come closeto the output of this sub, I could literarily blow the windows out of my house , which leads me to the point that a 300w amp is more than enough, save yourself 100 bucks...... Thanks to everyone on this forum steering me in the right direction.... Anybody second guessing themselves about building a sub should take it from me.... If I can do it, someone who has very little woodworking experience and just a good drill and tape measure.....you can do it too.... Save yourself 800+ dollars ...... Thanks again guys.... Ask me anything you guys want to know and I'll do my best to answer them....

  2. Well all I've done is turn the dial up about a quarter of the way and watched the beginning of the dark knight..... Holy Moses !!! My son ran down the stairs and wife about filled her drawers.... As for me it punched me in the chest, and in the gut, and in the butt!!! Lol vey good bass response, very good sound in tight response and with big booms, only can imagine how much more this thing has in the tank!!! Will give a full response once I test it out more about the whole process, so far A+++ and +!!!

  3. Well definitely at the home stretch, retouched up paint, built the amp box, put the gasket seal on the front side if the driver , have the input terminal mounted o to the door... All I have to do tomorrow is hoist this big mother up the stairs and put the driver in, seal the access cover and get to boomin, literally less than one hour of setup time away.... Full report tomorrow!!!!!

  4. Well the BBQ'd brisket and pork shoulder turned out great... Finally got to work on it today and made a lot of progress... Some the mdf wanted to crack when I screwed the panels together even with pilot holes but nothing to serious.... Will put some bracing in and the cover on tomorrow and the flange for the access door, will finish the access door spot sand and paint it Wednesday and will give a full report on how it sounds!!!

  5. Well I redid the baffle cut-out, the driver came in and it needed to be precisely cut... Needless to say the 15" driver is massive!!! Can't wait to get this all put together , It took forever to get the mounting holes fitted with the t nuts , had to grind down part of them so they wouldn't hang over the hole... I would say I would be assmbling the box tomorrow but its my son's 4th birthday this weekend and I am smokin some pork shoulder and brisket so I don't know if I will have time enough to cut the access panel and then time to screw and glue it all together my guess is I will have it assembled Friday night .... Will keep the pics coming as I get them

  6. Here is the baffle cutout, did it with a jigsaw, I know it's not perfect but I remeasured after the cut and it is fractionally bigger than the 14" hole, if it doesn't work ill just get another board and redo it differently, driver should arrive tomorrow and then I will cut the access hole to size of the driver and then screw and glue the box all together once I finish the baffle...
