I ordered kl-6502 for the center because the kl-6504 could be difficult to install being so wide. Since the picture was taken of the fireplace we have stoned the entire fireplace jog. Stoning it required some extra support. I don't know the specific of what was done. If he wants to match ill just have to get him another 6504.

The center speaker will not be on the same plane as the front speakers. The fireplace jog sticks out 24 or 28 inches from the back wall.
Yes I have already ordered...
kl-6504 for the fronts
kl-6502 for the center
ks-7800 for the sides
kl-6502 for the rears
and 2 svs sb13 ultra

Just an update... to compliment the THX speakers, I have chosen 2 sb-13 ultra subs. Now all I need to do is to pick out a receiver. More help Please. Thank you very much for everyones help!!!!!!!
Am I on the right path for a happy hubby?? -
How about this guys.... I just buy the THX in wall speakers. Seeing that they are best in wall Klipsch has to offer. He will like that. And I believe they are better than the Reference Series. Correct?
Front R/L would be KL-6504
Center KL-6502
Sides R/L KL-6502
Rear R/L KS-7800
Still need subs and a receiver.
If I go over budget I will leave the side surround speakers out.
YES or NO

Thanks Turbox for the compliment.
He was planning to do all "in wall" speakers for this room. Wires have been already run throughout the room, all that would need to be done is too cut the speakers in.
I don't mind having subwoofers in the corners as long as they are not too big. I've seen "in wall subwoofers" but through my research so far the consensus is to stay away.

Electronics are not part of the 6k, with that said I would like to stay around 7500. The jog sticks out 24 inches from the back wall. Yes the system will have to be new. The cabinets on the lower half will probably house the electronics while the upper half will have things such as pictures and décor items.

The attached pic is one side of the room before we renovated, its from the real estate listing. Regarding a budget I would like to be around the 6K mark for speakers. Thank you all for the help.
TV will be above fireplace. To the left of the skinny window is built in cabinetry which will flow underneath the window and connect to the fireplace jog. Same on opposite side that you cannot see. He was planning to install the Front speakers in between the skinny window and the fireplace jog.

Hi everyone, I coming to you all for some help regarding surround sound . My boyfriend and I purchased a home together which has a very large family room. It measures 24" by 24" by 14". I would like to surprise him by purchasing the surround sound system for him. He has been reading reviews for many days now and still hasn't made any decisions yet. I always see him reading about Klipsch, so I know this is where I should be. I know he wants an In-wall 7.2 system. Due to the built in cabinets in the room there is no room for floor standing speakers. I know he is liking the Reference series In walls. He always buys the higher end of anything, so I'll have to do the same. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!!
7.2 thx ultra setup
