  1. Apparently I was wrong. Turns out that Page was a thief, and most of Zeppelin's songs were covers - admittedly very good ones, but covers nonetheless. There is no shortage of stuff about on the Web and YouTube - it's pretty blatant stuff.

Most ? There are like five that people talk about and in most cases its due to Plant's lyrics not the guitar parts. Musically Page's guitar parts were completely different like in The Lemon Song.

  2. The heritage line is what gives Klipsch its awesome cred, every other speaker company and their dog is making skinny towers (which I despise), glad Klipsch is still making wide baffles with real drivers that don't have the cost of a car.

  3. Diz, agreed. Vinyl is not sonically superior to digital. If someone says they think vinyl is better its because they think it "sounds" better to them, warmer or whatever, like tubes are warmer sounding (which is actually tube distortion). There are many limitations to vinyl, recording engineers back then were called engineers for a reason, they were actually engineers, they had to figure out how to fit the music on the vinyl which was not an easy task. The more bass on a recording changes a lot of things on vinyl, more compromises. Not the case with digital (lossless of course). I grew up on vinyl and all I can say is good riddance. For nostalgia purposes only.

  4. Been using one of these for years http://www.ebay.com/itm/like/291097050019?lpid=82 connects from the pc speaker jack to the hifi system. There is another where you can still connect to the desktop speakers and the hifi system. One plugs into the back of the other.

Welcome to the forum Tone Boss.

That's been the recommendation of others as well. It is definitely the most versatile of all suggestions. I have a one I bought at Ratshack a while back that I use frequently on all kinds of equipment. Definitely something that everybody should own.

Thanks Mustang Guy, I don't own Klipsch speakers but I hope to one day. Great forum.

Just let us know when you have a budget for speakers. We love spending other people's money. :)

    haha, will do.
