I have a Promedia 5.1 that I love, but I no longer have any need to use it with a computer - just don't use a computer like that anymore.
What I'd like to do is setup the sub with my Pioneer VSX-31 receiver. Is there a way to do this without the control pod?
If I need to do it with the control pod, what is the best setup for that? I am currently putting the surround speakers through the receiver and don't want to connect them through the sub. Does that make any difference?

Are there adapters that I need?
Thanks!
