  1. Hi,

From the HTT, is a Pioneer Tube Amplifier, Model SX-34.

Bench Tested:  Brought up with Variac---no issues.  Sound fine, however the Tape Monitor switch is a bit scratchy.

Unit does not look great....but with cleaning, it will be good.

    Asking $225.00

  2. Hi,

From the HTT are several AM and AM/FM tube radios that I have bench tested...results are noted.

I'll attach pics in the order of the radios.  I'll post one pic per radio, but I have more of each if you would like to see.  I just did not want to flood this message.

If anyone can shed light on a radio's value, please share.

If interested in buying, I'm sure we can work out a reasonable price.

    Thanks,

    Bill

  3. This is a nice Scott RS 50 amp.  Bench tested; both A and B sets work, both Right and Left channels.

Tested with cassette deck....tape monitor works fine. All knobs included and controls functioning.

Only problem is that the dial lamp behind the digital display in not lit....probably needs a new bulb.

$30.00 and buyer pays shipping, or come and get it in NJ

  4. Wowzer,

Imagine my surprise when I picked this out of the HTT...A Westinghouse Type L DC Ammeter...at 50 Amps!

I was able to bench test to 12 Amps...but is registered correctly.

See pics and PM me if you are interested.

  5. Hi,

Again for the "Hanke Treasure Trove" (HTT), I found a 1941 GE AM Radio, Model L-660.

Turned it up with a Variac, turned on.

No sound came out....I think the tuner needs re-stringing, and it has missing knobs...

But hey, it might have value to someone..please see pics.

    Thanks,

    Bill

  6. Looking for suggestions and looking to sell.

Out of the "Hanke Treasure Trove" comes a mono amplifier whose only name I can find is Imperial Hi Fidelity Extended Range on the front (see pics).

Turned it up with a Variac, and started fine.  It has three RCA plugs in the back, but no indicators of who does what.

I have a handy cassette player, and found that 2/3 inputs work.  When set to one of the inputs, sound comes out of an 8 ohm speaker when the selector switch was set to either Phono Mic, RIAA or LP.   When moved over to another RCA input, sounds comes out when selector switch set to Tuner.  However, when the 3rd RCA input was tried, and selector switch set to Tape....no sound.

Over all, Bass and Treble controls work fine, but the Volume was a little scratchy.

Anyone know who made this unit, and maybe its value?

    Thanks,

    Bill
