I am a huge fan of Onkyo, I own the TX-NR717, but the Onk's have had HUGE and well-known problems with the HDMI boards. Before you buy an Onk I strongly suggest you Goggle the 828 and see if it has the HDMI problem (aka network problems, the network is affected by the HDMI daughterboard) I would tell you if I knew the answer, but I am not as familiar with that model as the older 717 and 818, which DO have that problem. I'll let others who own the C2's recommend specific brand AVR's which are known to work good with them. Glad I decided to go with the denon instead then ... Thanks for the input

Because of the design on the rs3 cabinet does that make a difference?

Well I bought the denon 4520ci avr and a set of rs-3ii surrounds to add to my chorus2 fronts hopefully getting a c7 center . As far postponing the surrounds do I do them ear high just behind main listening position at 90 degrees to listener?

When I got these chorus 2s I also got a onkyo tx-870 receiver what's everyone's thoughts on this receiver ?? Is it worth anything?

So if the guy on eBay gets back to me I'll be getting the academy not sure he's willing to ship it tho I live in Minnesota .... So with that said if I can get the academy center what's my best bet for rears I have no floor space for the fortes

Any more recent klipsch speakers that would work as it's hard to find academy and forte .... My room is small with the choruses up front

250$ lol.... These are mint not a mark in the cabinets and have been taken care of

I'm new to the forum and new to home theater. I have a pair of chorus 2 I'd like to build a home theater with these.. What would you guys recommend for center channel subwoofer and rear surrounds from klipsch that would go nicely with the chorus ? Also looking for a good reciever with network capabilities .. Gladly take suggestions I'm on kind of a budget got line 2000$ to invest . Thanks in advance
