  1. Unless you are here....with me....in this very room.....with these very speakers and accessories..... you really are not in a position to say my systems needs this or that. Or, that blah blah is wrong....or whatever. ?? Love my Klipsch. about me.....I am in business of high tech manufacturing. 5-axis CNC milling of titanium and exotic ceramics.... I sell, operate, repair and fix very complex rapid-prototype machines. We do 3d-scanning and CAD/CAM work....reverse engineering at my business. I build my own CNC mills and build custom mills for others globally. We sell German CAD and Italian CAM software, and Korean and German 3d-scanners. I love music as well, and the science and physics behind it. Have an electrical engineer and software engineer and many other smart employees here to enjoy the music with me. www.3d-dental.com is One of my sites. It is international 3d CAD/CAM for medical manufacturing forum. I am "DMC" on there....the owner. I own dominion milling center, prime dental products, old dominion dental corp, and 3d-dental.com I dropped out of high-school as well. Nothing I do today was invented anyway when I was in School. I am 42yrs old. Scotty - Rare Church Organ La Scalas with built-in 100watt amps and Square magnet, K33P woofers. - Cornwalls - 2015 Jubilee 535b
  2. I was referring to his link to the "discontinued Jubilee". Again, the OP has stated a number of things that might confuse a potential Jubilee buyer. I was merely trying to clean things up a bit. The Modern Jubilees.....1200watt each for the Bass Bin alone....and mine measure around 3.3ohms with both woofer in parallel, as the factory wired them. They do say 8ohm labels, but each woofer measures 6.3 by itself and when wired together in parallel (the way they came) measure 3.3ohm (dunno why not 3.15....but this is what Two different Multi-Meters measure...?) So, I power them with 4ohm outputs on my McIntosh MC352. I am not running nearly enough amp for these. Need more. This is what I get for reading the stupid internet and buying amps before the actual speaker arrived. It takes 3x the power as what Klipsch web-site states. Each woofer can handle 600watts, according to Chris in Arkansas, and my decal on the bass bin....?? Go figure..? Top section ohm at just over 12ohm. (Measured at the included crossover network) Recommended RMS power....I have no friggin clue? Came with no paperwork, and no labels. Yes, Roy Delgato emailed me yesterday....but I think he is either on vacation or out of the country on business?
  3. One KPT-Jubilee.....Note the Three vents ("Wings") on the Bass Bin. http://www.klipsch.com/kpt-jubilee/details My 2015 KPT-Jubilee (Four vents, or "shelves" totally different!) http://www.klipsch.com/KPT-Jubilee-535-B These are not the same animals. If you are going to start an accurate argument or post test results...., then please specify what version you are referring to. I spoke with Chris at the manufacturing facility I believe. OK? The current 3-way 535b sounds fantastic. I love them very much. 2-way...."no way" for me. Do you guys even know what drivers are in my Bass Bins, or what you think you know about past versions? Go ahead and take a guess..... These are 0001 and 0002 built this year. (The Bass Bins) Ordered from local Klipsch dealer. All speakers have individual serial numbers. Mids and Tweeters are not 0001 and 0002s....much higher because they are offered in many various speakers.
  4. That is the ONLY car from the 80s to go up in value. Buick Grand Nationals and Buick Regal T-Types. Came with Indy Car Racing Turbo V6 and was fastest production car in 1987. Faster and better handling than even a Corvette. What rock did you just crawl out of? It is a VERY Iconic, classic American muscle car! Ahead of it's time with the technology it had. Very similar to Mr Klipsch and his products. (Are you a woman?? That would explain it.) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_XNN-0VEzXw https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C0F-MdFIuOk My others I owned were Black Grand Nationals....
  5. Go build a system that will knock your own Lava Lamp sideways. That's what I have! LOL You do not. You're not even close yet.
  6. 2-way? I know you are not suggesting I remove my Tweeter....right? 3-way is great and bi-amping is working just fine for me. Tube amps for the mid and top.....solid state for the bass bins = happy owner! At this point I would not consider changing anything. Maybe you are blind?, but I have 13" JL Fathom AND a JBL 18" Professional Sub already! ?? They are in my pics if you bothered to look. You would be sick in the head if you need more Bass! I already have most of the Vinyl that I want. Thanks you guys for your "expert" opinions! So nice! Very happy to have found the Klipsch products. Great stuff! (pffft B&W)
  7. No thanks! Not looking for advice. If you see me ask, then you can throw your $0.02 at me. OK buddy?
  8. 2015 Jubilees, as posted in my first post. You guys are getting the hang of this internet thingy,. Way to go! I don't need you to tell me what sounds good to my ears. Sang in barbershop, sang in world famous choir, played Sax and Guitar....have perfect-pitch. etc etc... I know what I like and I do experiment after researching my stuff. It is set-up just fine and I am done messing around. Time to sit back and enjoy. You are welcome to spend eternity never happy and constantly fiddiling and tweeking your own system until you go blue-mental. Knock yourself out my man! Already predicted a few know-it-alls to come in here and tell me what to do. That is why I first posted the crossover specs that Klipsch has on the web. But, as expected.....some tard went ahead and re-posted them anyways and trying to tell me what I like. Nice! Also, Klipsch engineer that worked with Paul on these speakers absolutely told me to try 800hz for the 2015 Jubilees. OK? Just accept it and move on already! Sheeezh!
  9. Just a little V6 with only 700hp+ and A/C...... You wouldn't be interested. BIG Turbonetics hair dryer and tuned with a FAST XFI computer. Just to get grocerys and run errands with ya'know? This is Turbo Buick #4 for me. LOVE turbos! Mechanical-Music to my ears.
  10. Thank you Capt. Obvious! Already posted that info just above if you were to bother reading.
  11. Talk to Roy (Delgado) - it doesn't get any more expert than that. Anyone telling you it's 800 Hz , I'd like to know their name. The bass bins will surely go to 1200 Hz in terms of on-axis response, but the polars (and corresponding power response) are really, really narrow up there, which doesn't sound very good. That's why everyone that has those jewels cross them at about 425 Hz. per the Klipsch anechoic chamber-derived settings. If you're using the K-510/K-69-A (3-way Jub) on top, you can cross that over at virtually any point above ~2 kHz you want. There are slightly better bass bin settings using a Yamaha SP2060 here: https://community.klipsch.com/index.php?app=core&module=attach&section=attach&attach_rel_module=post&attach_id=106126 Chris uh-huh.... EVERYONE! lol We must all be the same..... I am not listening in an anechoic chamber believe it or not, and YES an expert at Klipsch gave me those recommended settings and I agree with them.
  12. System is balanced to my ears. Results may vary depending on ?? everything! LOL Used many various sampling equipment and tried some auto-Eq stuff....then added my own touch as I walked around my business listening.
  13. DBX drive rack..... MC275 tubes amps for the Jubilee Mid and Top.... MC352 Solid-State for the Bass bins. ?? Works for me! LOL As you may see, I also use a JL Fathom for sub 40hz notes. Something like that? Also have a JBL Professional Sub (18") Why not? McIntosh Tube preamp with matched NOS Vintage Telefunkens for my Moving Magnet M-10 turntable, and Moving Coil from my Marantz.... Good enough for work!
  14. Hmmm...not what the guys at Klipsch recommend to me on the Phone. More like 800hz, even though the web-site says 400hz The Bass bin can easily go up to 1000hz, but I have it set around 800hz as per the experts at Klipsch. ?? Yeah, I do not recommend McIntosh speakers at all. They are on eBay and Craigslist. In front are 1977 McIntosh ML-2M. I now use them just as a table to hold my Vinyl that is spinning. Five way....Six speakers each. 2 12" woofers. Maybe 87db 1watt @ 1 meter on a good day? (If that!)
  15. Hello, I am new Klipsch fan in Richmond Va Have a set of 2015 Jubilees 535s, and Cornwall II Selling everything else! Now a complete Klipsch fan for life! Waiting for some La Scalas to show up here from a church with Square magnet woofers. I'll try to post some pics..... (?? Maybe so, maybe not?)
