So you're new here and want to flag a sale on CL. It seems legit, so call him and ask for more pics. You cant flag on price. The guy can ask whatever he wants, maybe he will get someone that has to have it right away and he will get paid. That pair with the gray horn makes me think it's a version 1, Just leave it alone

And I've left it be because I asked here, first. The seller is dumb, but not necessarily dishonest.
That said, the short ports with the gray horns scream Version 2.

You asked should you flag the ad, yet you don't know if it's legitimate or not. Rather than asking here maybe you should contact the seller rather than asking others here who probably don't know if the ad is legitimate either, if you're so concerned.
Also, if you're not interested in purchasing the item, why are you so concerned?

My early Version 3s are around 55 pounds each. I doubt earlier versions are much heavier.

They're pretty scratched and missing their feet, but they're likely Version 2s. For that price and finish, were I within 300 miles of that place, I'd be all over it.

The photos are cruddy. You can only reply by phone. He says they've got sequential serial numbers, but does not provide them - and though they look nice, I can tell right away these are not Version 1s.
Even so, isn't his asking price a bit stratospheric for a pair in black satin?

Nice combo! Price is way high to my thinking by about a third.
Edit: I had to edit my s/n section out to avoid confusion. I had KV-4 and CF-4 labels confused.

I thought it was going in Alerts. How do I change this?
And I also thought the price is a tad high, especially for the finish. Still, some revised crossovers and longer ports will give you a set of virtual Version 1s!
