I replaced the bad K77's because I like the crisper sound of peizoelectric tweeters. Together with the squawkers, it sounds great. At $1,500 for the pair, a person could afford what ever option they personally prefer.

Nice pair of BELLE's for sale, not perfect - but very nice condition for their age. Mods made: replaced bad K77 tweeters with new peizo tweeters. (sounds great) - Added buffering tape to outside of squawkers to "tame down" the ringing effect of the metal horns. I feel that the sound is more crisp with the new tweeters (they have a very high freq range - up beyond our hearing), the K77's were bad. The squawker isn't as harsh as previously. At this good price, you could do any mods you may prefer.....Asking $1500/pr firm.I have the AB crossover; I checked it out and it works fine. The peizo tweeter does not have a "voice coil" so the crossover isn't an issue for it. Located in Minnesota.
