Room size and echo can mess with audyssey and make it sound like dirt.
I'm about to embark on a insulating mission in my room. It's an added expense I never factored in. Too much bare walls and hard tiled floors and a 7 metre roof height in a 7 x 7 metre room.

Get a last season model and pocket the change.
I picked up a 6011 marantz clearance new for half of original retail price. 9.2 receiver it's the best value.

[RP 250s all round.]

Hi and good afternoon.
My first post is rather a crazy question but studying spec sheets it might be not so crazy.
This is rather a wife pleaser because she hates any speaker on the ground. Its a no go.
So i am looking at bookshelf speakers to wall mount and it got me thinking.
 
Why cant i use 5 x RP250s for front,centre and surrounds and throw two R115s in to bring the thump?
 
Any reason i cant use these for that purpose? Spec sheet i cant see no reason why.
My amp is a marantz 6011.
